IF TM had beaten GZ to death, would he be tried as an adult or child?  If TM was hispanic and GZ white, would the press have called TM a black Hispanic?

The answer to your first question is he would have been tried as an adult and there would have been no 45 day delay before arresting and charging TM.

and it seems obvious now that both the judge and prosecution in the case have the same feeling...... so much so they are willing to see a man convicted of murder with depraved intent.... when a lesser form of manslaughter or even an acquittal altogether might be more appropriate... just in order to show blood on the state's sword ... thereby soothing the angry mob and what they see as their potential for violence...... .. sadly some of the comments coming from members and defenders of that mob do nothing to assure us that it wouldn;t happen... ...they seem ready to fan the flames of such violence should a verdict they deem undesirable come from the jury...... and others are afraid to speak out either way lest they be labelled a racist by one or both of the two sides.......

there is actually a trial going on right now in honolulu that has some similarities to the zimmerman case.....  it;s the trial of federal agent christopher deedy who shot and killed a man in a mcdonalds, in waikiki, during the apec conference of 2011.....  tons of security, extra police, along with department of homeland security restrictions were put into place all over the island in anticipation of violent protests and troublemakers known to follow apec conferences..... ironically that single incident was the only act of violence even remotely connected to the conference that occurred on the island during apec.... and it had nothing to do with apec at all.......  thankfully.. neither the court or the jury here is concerned that violent protests will result should they convict or acquit deedy either way.... .... which leaves them free to decide on a more appropriate and just verdict....

Not sure where I heard it, but someone mentioned if the possibilities of riots are in the minds of the jurors and judge.  And I agree with our first paragraph.  Well actually everything you said! Are you sure you aren't older than you say you are...your words are always full of wisdom!!
