If you want to discuss ethics let's talk about divulging specific information from a private conversation so as to make it appear to favor your position (or marginalize mine), then when rebutted you disappear from the scene.
 
Wow, just wow.  Step back a minute and think about the argument here. Seriously?  I mean, really, come on. This is an internet forum. Some people are taking it way  too seriously, investing far too much emotional energy in it, probably getting their sense of personhood here.  That amazes me.

What about people who get their sense of being and importance from dredging up thread discussions from years ago in order to launch personal assaults that have nothing to do with the substance of the conversation they interject themselves into?

When it is showing the the integrity and reliability or lack thereof  of the main poster in question, I applaud it.

And with that I am done.  I don't want to argue with you. You put way too much stake in forums.

In one of those very threads, you admitted that you agreed with the position I took, but found a way to lob insults of ad hominem despite agreeing with my position.  That speaks to personal animus, and you're not alone on here.
