You <collectively> locked three threads.  I disagree with your interpretation of events which you used as justification to lock those threads, which I felt was heavy handed, especially in lieu of not answering my initial request (in the other thread on "Sexual Predators" and Mike) asking for your criteria of locking threads.  But the icing on the cake of heavy moderation was Ransom locking my thread making a simple plea for that moderator philosophy again, and Ransom played the heavy for mere amusement.

Let's make sure that if we're going to discuss this that we at least allow a fair hearing and due process to play out.  What I was requesting was validation of his assertion that he was not anonymous on here.  The request was for people who would vouch for him to speak up and indeed say that he was telling the truth and that they knew of his person(a).  In that process I was merely hoping that some people who knew Torrent would speak to his claim that he was a known entity, and that they could vouch for him not being explosive, violent, or a nutcase.

You never gave the comprehensive answer to my question about the "moderating decisions"/philosophy until today.  Anything else is speculative, sketchy, and presumptive on your part, at minimum.

And lets be clear, since we're talking about private messages and such.  In one of my early communications on this matter I made it clear that the only reason I was being harsh with Torrent was because I had tolerated his personal attacks for weeks without ever responding.  I had NEVER said one word directly or indirectly to him but he continued the ad hominem numerous times.  When I finally gave him some of his own medicine he immediately responded with what appeared to be veiled physical threats.  That is some important context to keep in mind when you measure my responses to him.

... and the content of information would have been? What reasonable action could you take with someone answering, "Yeah... I know him... he's a good guy."  If you really felt that statement was an actionable threat, as I pointed out in my new sticky thread, the right course of action is to go to the authorities, not other anonymous people.
