Assuming what you told us about the price hikes is true, the clear and undeniable implication was that it was the natural and direct result of the tariffs, and not mere price gouging, which is really what is behind the immediate and arbitrary price hike of a foreign or domestic good to the exact rate of a new tariff.No one said it was. But you are ignoring the reasons for the tariffs, which tells me you'd rather have cheap prices on foreign goods than to repel the victimization of your neighbor by foreign aggressors.
