Memory Lane

How Raider feels when he walks by the post office on campus. He remembers staring into this girl's eyes and that girl's eyes and the other girl's eyes...

Hey, Tom, get your story straight.  It was not several girls.  it was one girl.  It's not her fault that she was cross-eyed and I had to look several directions.

Grandma Hyles

Attempted to lead a file cabinet to the Lord.
Somebody please remind me of this story! :o

In her last few years Grandma Hyles was blind or at least legally blind. Anyway, Bro. Hyles would tell how when Mrs. Stephens once took Grandma Hyles  to a doctor's office, Grandma Hyles thought a file cabinet was a person and started witnessing to it.

I still remember the service where Brother Hyles baptized the file cabinet.  If I'm not mistaken that file cabinet is still a member of FBCH today.  :)

We baptized that filing cabinet many times in the year of the big push.

Memory Lane

The cemetery in Schererville, Indiana owned by FBCH.  There is a mausoleum on the property.  It is the burial place of Dr. Hyles.

The place where I will have to ship my parents' bodies when they die.

Who is buried in the mausoleum???:
Dr. Hyles
Dr. Hyles' mom
Dr. Hyles' dad
Dr. Hyles' grandson
Mrs. Evans

Am I wrong on any of these?  Who else?

Do any of the Hyles children & grandchildren have plots there?

Do you think any will choose to be buried there when their life here is over?
