Either way, he's done more to save innocent life than Carter even dreamed of.Trump may or may not be saved, but he in no way lives the life or testimony of a born again christian.
The prolife movement never had a friendlier President.

That might be true, but telling Jesus you were anti-abortion won’t stamp Trump’s ticket to eternal life in Heaven.Either way, he's done more to save innocent life than Carter even dreamed of.

I actually really like that hat. I just bought this one the other day because it can double as a fishing and duck hunting hat. The camo pattern is actually incorporated with some fish. First time I’ve seen that done. https://guyharvey.com/cdn/shop/files/GHV55789-3SY1095_CAVIAR_600x.png?v=1709823203this is a good non-politcal hat.... both conservatives and liberals could wear it year round..
..and without regard to who was in the white house... .. it;s in no way politically incorrect
since peta and the left hasn;t tagetting mahimahi fishing yet - like they have deer hunting
and other gun sports.. ...

I posted this earlier, but this is the video (or the latest one), in which President Carter discusses gay marriage and abortion. Yes, later in life he adopted a pro-gay marriage position, but he is very clear about his position on abortion.I would agree with this 100%. Trump may or may not be saved, but he in no way lives the life or testimony of a born again christian.
Carter was misguided on much of his policy to include being pro abortion and supporting it. Thats being said I believe he was saved and was a moral and ethical man who believe he was doing the right thing. He lived a life of service caring for others.
Neither will telling Him you lived with one woman all your life. Waxing soteriological is no escape from the fact that as a man, Carter was weak and pathetic, and as President, even more so. Of course he was faithful. What woman could be attracted to him? That might be true, but telling Jesus you were anti-abortion won’t stamp Trump’s ticket to eternal life in Heaven.
That may be true, but at least he had children who respected him enough to acknowledge him in both life and death. When a man’s children and wife want nothing to do with him, he’s really got nothing more than a beating heart.Neither will telling Him you lived with one woman all your life. LOL. Well that was a bit catty. Might I recommend some Ageless Male? That may be true, but at least he had children who respected him enough to acknowledge him in both life and death. When a man’s children and wife want nothing to do with him, he’s really got nothing more than a beating heart.![]()
Just spitting facts….LOL. Well that was a bit catty. Might I recommend some Ageless Male?![]()
Politics aside, denigrating a man for being faithful to his wife for sixty years tells me a lot more about your character than his. That’s all I have to say about that subject.Whatever you say, dear.

Carter had zero Supreme Court Justice appointees but 2 of his Appeals Court Appointees ended up on the Supreme court later. Stephen Breyer and Ruth Bader Ginsburg were very libral and cannot in any way be characterized as pro life. Most of his federal judge appointees are characterized as very liberal to moderatly. None that I know or were ever characterized as conservative or had biblical or God honoring principals and views. Not true. His party has a history of supporting abortion, so maybe by default he supported it, but he signed the Hyde Amendment to actually restrict abortion while president. There’s plenty of videos evidence of him saying he was never comfortable supporting abortion as a Christian (including in this thread).
Do you have someone in mide with this comment?LOL. Well that was a bit catty. Might I recommend some Ageless Male?![]()
It was a response to Huk. I was implying his testosterone level might be a little low to jab back for his catty attempt to emasculate me with a fiction about my family situation.Do you have someone in mide with this comment?
No one denigrated him for that, spinmeister.Politics aside, denigrating a man for being faithful to his wife for sixty years tells me a lot more about your character than his. That’s all I have to say about that subject.
Just remember, some people take their criticism to the extremes, and they respond in idiocy. We both have seen that.Well, he didn't have the Spirit of God, so, no...he couldn't have loved that way, but he was definitely drawn to her above all others.
Sheesh.![]()
Then, please tell me what partial birth abortion entails....part of the infant's body being outside of the womb, and then their skull being punctured as it comes out. That IS coming out of the womb, whether it's being pulled out or being birthed naturally. I mean, we can get pretty literal either way. You’re being a little disingenuous with your last statement. I’m not a supporter of abortion, but the “coming out of womb” abortion line has been proven to be not true: https://www.cbsnews.com/amp/news/trump-falsely-claims-democrats-support-abortions-after-birth/
Now, that being said, I’m sure if all of you do deep enough google searches you can locate a Democratic politician who does support infanticide, just like I can locate Republican politicians who support abortion. In fact, Governor Ronald Reagan signed an abortion bill into law that made California’s annual abortions skyrocket from less than 1,000 to over 100,000. (He later regretted this decision.) https://www.nationalreview.com/2008/01/reagans-darkest-hour-paul-kengor-patricia-clark-doerner/amp/
On the other hand, Carter did more than any other Democrat to restrict abortions by signing into law the Hyde Amendment: https://www.ncregister.com/news/pro...o-jimmy-carter-to-save-the-hyde-amendment?amp
Your words, not mine: “Of course he was faithful. What woman could be attracted to him?”No one denigrated him for that, spinmeister.
I will not have a discussion with you or anyone else defending abortion. I’ve made it clear I’m against it. My comment was regarding people claiming Carter was pro-abortion. I’ve documented legislative proof and video testimony contradicting that claim. If you and others want to say his party was pro abortion then that’s fine, but I personally know Democrats who are anti-abortion, just like I know some people who are Republicans who are pro-choice. Find someone else to argue about the abortion thing with, I won’t do it. Full stop. Then, please tell me what partial birth abortion entails....part of the infant's body being outside of the womb, and then their skull being punctured as it comes out. When someone states that they are against abortion or have qualms about supporting it, and they are in a position to try and help change and prevent the practice but doesn't, and stays in that party as it's leader, they support abortion. You can avoid discussion, but the facts are there in the video. You're always entitled to your beliefs on the party, however incorrect they may be, but the proof is in the pudding.I will not have a discussion with you or anyone else defending abortion.
