Close.  It's "be good", and "tough time", but you have the gist of it.

Why did Bro. Hyles have prayer time in the format he did on the broadcast?

This reminds me of a funny story.  Dennis Usher and I had Brother Laurent for Isaiah.  The broadcast was on during his class.  I had my head bowed for prayer time (actually I was half asleep).  Dennis Usher was sitting directly to my right.  Dr. Hyles said, "Pray for two of our college students, Dennis Usher and RAIDER (well, he used my real name) as they were in an auto accident."  I immediately looked up and toward Dennis.  I then looked toward the front of the room at Brother Laurent.  He had a scowl on his face and he was shaking his head.  Needless to say, we had to stay after class and try to get out of a mess.  One of our friends had made the call.

Actually the format used was from a daily broadcast Coystal Hyles listened to when Dr. Hyles was a boy. His sister Earlyne was sick and Mrs. Hyles called for prayer. She recovered and it made an impression on young Jack.

Thank you for the compliment. I was called the same thing my freshman year at HAC when I walked through the dorm hallway holding my walkman and headphones in plain sight.

Thanks.

In my NWI Tard fashion, I had forgotten that we called everything over there : "Pine Island", even though there are apts, townhouses, and single family residences, and, correct me if I'm wrong, I think that only the Apts are "PI".

There were townhomes like where the Laurents lived, but Cedar Point was a bit North of there on the other side of the street.  They were definitely apartments but generally called the place was where students returning to the college would stop so they could transition their occupancy to comply with the college rules  :P

How many "sets" of dorms were there at Baptist City?
