Cindy filed for divorce?

Beautiful home and no pool... its sad to look at... I wish Cindy the best

I am shocked that she is posting on FB.  Seems like she would want some privacy.  Maybe it keeps our enquiring minds at bay so she can have some peace?

Is there internet in prison.... maybe she wants Jack to know she's OK...

That's nothin'.  Where Jack lives now has a far bigger kitchen.  Bedroom is probably smaller though.

Want to hear something funny?  I had to think a moment or two to figure out which "Jack" you were talking about.  Then I was wondering how you would know?  Then I laughed out loud when I figured out my error.

Totally believable that a teacher working at HAC and later as the pastor of FBC could swing this,... (Yes that was sarcasm)

All right - I just gotta ask - what is with the massage chair in the laundry room?  Who actually buys one of those, why is it in the laundry room, and was it once in the office?????  :o

Maybe the love offering was *really* good.

Evelyn, where have you been??!!!

Without Teri here, it's just depressing. j/k  :-)

I'm sorry, I'm afraid I have to admit that..... I've been a slacker.  Please sing me 17 stanzas of "Just As I Am," and I will hit the altar.

Interesting door choice in the basement room with the ping pong table.

I thought of the same thing of the big vault and the huge work out room.  WOW.  But if he worked 105 hours a week, when did he have time to work out?  And what was in that vault?  I know - all the money FBC is missing!

Have you been gone so long?  Have you turned away from your HACker roots?  The ONLY acceptable invitation song is "I Surrender All."  This will be followed with a quick rendition of "We'll Never Say Goodbye in Glory."  Then, you can return to your normal routine.

Maybe we can get Geraldo to do a special!  :P

So many good folks still at FBCH, and those whose families sacrificed to purchase HAC... It must be difficult to see this home.

Those who gave in the love offering are probably having second thoughts as well.

Whats with the shock regarding the home

Its listed at $299.99, at 5% rate for 30 yrs, that puts the payment at around $1600.00 a month with no down payment.

If they payed $400,000  with no money down it would still be under $2000 a month at todays interest rates.

Remember his family had money. My guess is Dad may have helped with the down payment & they were paying $1500 a month or so.

Does anyone know what JS was making as pastor. Was he keeping his book money? What about all the love offerings when he traveled?

Just saying

Okay, I'll do 3 "I Surrender Alls," 6 "Just As I Ams," one "Hail Mary Full of Grace," and trot back and forth to the altar 10 consecutive times.

That was Cindy's workout room.  She was trying to stay pretty enough for him not to cheat.  You know, building up your Godly husband by staying trim like when he met you.  Considering the disastrous results, maybe she needed a few more pieces of equipment.  You know, like a hammer for beating him upside the head.

Many people on this board have been in their home. It used to be smaller/humbler, albeit nicely kept up. Then, after JS took the pastorate the maintenance people on staff did a huge addition/expansion/renovation on their home. The project manager for that told me personally that the church paid for it but never voted on paying for it. That's the problem...
