Are you eating at Chick FIL A today?

Yup...going to try about 11:30 for lunch....expecting it to be crowded.

We're taking the children and youth ministries of our church to lunch there.....to meet with their parents.
We feel called to do so..... :)

I like it...it is about the family and the biblical view of the family...sounds great!

There's one only 500 miles away, in Boise, Idaho. Nah, I don't think so. Ezell's new fried chicken place, Heaven Sent, is right here in Seattle. Yeah, the same Ezell who made chicken that Oprah had flown in on her private jet.

But in any case, I don't eat fried chicken to support ANY political cause. I eat it 'cause it tastes good.

I/we go to CFA at least weekly....the graddkids love it.....and so do I.

CFA is closed on Sunday and still rivals other fast food restaurants in volume per capita!
The tolerant, diverse liberals made this an issue.....not Chick FIL A!

Had chicken biscuit for breakfast  It was good.

Yawn.  That ain't the first piece I've seen today from some smug, self-righteous person who thinks their unique insights are morally superior.

I ate there because I appreciate them. Larry Shallenwhatever's guilt-manipulating-tactics ain't gonna change that.  I expect I'm very different from him, and he wants me to have lunch with someone different from me, but so far he ain't called to take me out. and I'd bet a nickel that his lunch routine today will be about the same as yesterday.

It seems to me that Larry misses the point.
CFA has been around for years, doing what they do, believing what they believe!
It stands to reason that they welcome, even strive for liberals, gays, straights, and conservatives to be regular customers!

Dan Cathy has been outspoken on his belief and value system.....the reason they don't open on Sundays! The liberals....those pillars of tolerance and diversity....made this THE issue.....see the mayors of Boston and Chicago as exhibits A and B!

The article reeks of the same hypocrisy and double standard that seems to come as standard equipment in the Progressive movement!

One of our Pastors attempted to eat at CFA for lunch....it was a mad house!

There's a running joke with my youngest sensei.  He asks every Sunday if we can eat at Chic-fil-a.  ::)

I haven't tried since I can't drive, but my son is planning on going with his cronies that usually meet at Bojangles before Wed. nite service.  He said he is getting tweets that you can't get near the place.

Anybody who thinks Jesus did not try to change people is ignorant of the Scriptures...I tire of the protraying of an impotent Jesus who just wants everyone to do whatever they want to do...I think they are confusing Jesus with Rodney(can't we all just get along) King!

Nearest CFA is about 4500 miles away so I won't be eating there today. It will be one of the first restaurants I go to when I get back home, though. I really miss their spicy chicken sandwich.

Smug and self-righteous?  I thought it was very humble, balanced and Christ-like.  To me it comes down to, would you rather make a point or make a difference?
