Any "Glee"/sodomite fans present among us?

Sorry AGAYMAN. Didn't know you were so thin skinned.  Now go back to your show tunes.

Help us!

I have lots of gay friends.  I think Jesus said it best, love! The end.

Jesus gave the 'love command' in some context.
God hates homosexuality but loves homosexuals.
God hates adultery but loves adulterers.
God hates lies but loves liars.

God commands men to repent, confess and forsake their sin.
I believe we could all agree to that sentiment.

The world system has, is and will continue to do all it can to make sin acceptable.
I have never seen Glee, but wouldn't doubt that it's programmed to do such.....

Yeah, because calling someone a sodomite will make them see the errors of their ways and repent! Ya think?

This thread had and has nuttin to do about witnessing the Gospel to a sodomite.. Reading is your friend

Ah, the old standby -- nothing like berating homosexuals to give wacky fundamentalists a little sense of security.

Then what does one call them?

And what was the Lord's reason for using the words sodomite and abomination?  Maybe because their actions made them sodomites and their aberrant sins were abominable in the sight of a Holy God?

1 Kings 14:24  And there were also sodomites in the land: and they did according to all the abominations of the nations which the LORD cast out before the children of Israel.

Sure their actions are sinful.  Don't you find it curious, though, that God spent a whole lot less time proportionally condemning them than does the typical fundamentalist?

Just curious what fundamentals of the Christian faith do you denounce?

I'll admit I grew up in new evangelical circles before I entered fundamentalism but I don't find this to be true. But that's just me.

That would be as effective, probably more effective than ignoring the subject altogether.
How would you suggest we handle a subject that God calls an abomination?

And, FTR, I use different language and attitude here than I use in preaching and teaching...on almost every subject!

(Like...... I am shocked that an Xer would be talking about gays, again, one more time, as in deja vu.)  ::)

I'm sure that you and Osteen have a lot in common regarding the types of sin you'd omit talking about.

Was that said in your best PeeWee Herman voice?

A piece of advice for ya little buddy.  Avoid the public restoom debacles.

Guess you need to ask AGAYMAN about that  he seems to be the expert on Glee

You're more screwed up than MLH.  I've never watched it, and don't claim to be an expert on it, but the article I read regarding the recent episode depicting two male virgins doin' the horizontal bop accurately analyzed the show's agenda.  It don't take a rocket scientist to see what they're sellin', and the fella who created the show admits such.  But you go on attacking me if it helps ya sleep better Mr Reubens.

Well, if that ain't spin I don't know what is.  Do you think that there is a homosexual agenda, and that it is to gain acceptance in mainstream culture?

So then how does watching, Glee, Disney's many shows, I Dream of Jeannies belly button, and the list goes on that I have heard over the years, make one "less spiritual" or more evil than the next guy?  How does it "destroy our families" and all. Never understood that one either from the IFB crowd. (Of which crowd I am part of)

It's hard to make sense of your protest.  Are you intimating that I spend too much time talking about the gay issue?  If so, you've got spit for brains.  Cream, if you were to be the slightest big objective you'd admit that in my history on the forums I rarely talk about the gay thing.  Maybe others do, but I ain't talkin' about wacko hobby horse fundy cotton-candy sermons, but rather a real issue that is invading our laws and our church house.  Do you want to just bury your head in the sand and ignore the reality that the gay agenda is impacting marriage, laws, and the way churches shy away from the subject?

Glee is in large part about desensitizing the culture towards gay relationships and forwarding their agenda.  Do you think that Christians should advocate art with such an anti-Christ message?

What a stupid way to start a thread.

Oh, I know, you are probably serious about calling gay people sodomites, but do you really expect to win anyone when you address sinners like that?

For you to say anyone has started a thread in a stupid way is the height of irony.

Well, it's like this: I'll take Osteen's fake pompous Christianity over your fake pompous Christianity any day!

If you'd get ANY kind of Christianity it'd be an improvement. 8)
