I'm willing to start anywhere you like. I hate to scrap with others but will do it if necessary. And, it's "there." So, you did pretty well there my friend. I'm sure you're a nice guy, and you and I would probably be pretty good friends if we ever met in person. The same goes with Ekklesian.

I still routinely hear how Hyles is one of the great Christians of all time. Maybe I just listen to different groups than you do.

I was listening to Jack Trieber's Pastor & Worker's Conference for Monday night, 03 Mar, and Hyles was exalted again.

...and there are still leaders and churches following his unscriptural philosophies.

Bob Gray, Sr, is one of those undying fans of Jack Hyles.

As long as people continue to lift up Jack Hyles, I want to continue to point out that he did more harm than good to Christianity.

I used to go hear guys like this when they came locally just to see if there was any little tiny bit of real spiritual life. I never found any and just stopped wasting my time. I must hvae been dreaming back in 87 when I first heard Hyles and thought he was actually a godly man who walked with Jesus.
 
I kind of like the videos of Tony Hutson. Who’s that guy on here who used to post all of his videos? He was pretty funny.

I was fooled as well. Maybe, that’s why I really don’t get excited anymore about people like Trump or pastors anymore. I’ve had my fill and learned my lessons.

There were a few guys who were genuine. A couple of the traveling evangelists I watched when they visited the churche I served in. They struggled with their own demons, but a couple of them were decent guys. Others though, oh man. John VanGelderen was a total buffoon.
