I would imagine the overall attendance is down but summertime makes it especially low.Tarheel Baptist said:bgwilkinson said:....on Sunday Night June 18, 2017.
In your pictures, the choir appears to be full and would probably fill many of those empty seats. But I assume your point is that PM attendance is down from what it once was. Is the AM attendance down as well or are people just not returning on Sunday nights as they once did?
bgwilkinson said:No and that is a good thing.
Our present pastor is a humble godly man.
I can say I have never heard him brag about the great things he has done even once.

No wonder the building is half full.

Tarheel Baptist said:Good point...summer attendance is 'down' no matter the church or situation.

How did those guys without suit coats and ties get into the auditorium?!!

As hard as it may be to believe FBCH does not have a dress code for entry into the auditorium.
You will find people wearing all kinds of getups. Shorts tank tops and tee shirts are common during the summer especially.
Paid and volunteer religious operatives do have an obligation to dress modestly.
We want visitors and all kinds of people, it's hard enough to get them there, blocking them would be counter productive. None of us there are that great.

As hard as it may be to believe, I was just teasing. I knew the information you posted before you posted.

I remember Dr. Hyles telling us how he would throw people off planes because of the way they dressed.
(I think that's what he said...)
