Yep, I didn't get to Applebee's until 1:15. Usually there by 12:30.

@BG  Maybe this should go under a different thread (Long Services) .... but the Wed Night Missions Conf went from 7 - 9:45.... ouch!

Sorry have no info on that event. I am only in Hammond on Sunday.
Do not go on any week night.

Sunday AM Service, April 1, 2018. Easter Program. Pic was taken at end of the program.
You'll note the month-long beatdown on tithing did not seem to help. Faith promise chiding may have.

That is, until I got a memo demanding that my children be in SS, A-church, Sunday Eve, and Wednesday...

It is ironic how fixated he was that the kids be emersed in FBCH. I recall a faculty member ultimately resigning after Schaap demanded that the children attend HB rather than be homeschooled.

IMHO, it an individual works for a ministry / company, they should be willing to follow these and other rules...

Yes, we who are awake, know that you Babelite sleepwalkers worship the State, and it's mini-me, the Corporate Church.

When a preacher preached a sermon that did not go anywhere & didn't reach the target, it used to be said that he laid a dinosaur egg.

Good Father's Day illustration:

My pastor told of how he & his dad enjoyed putting model cars together as a kid.

He had a model hotrod car box, opened it, set the boxtop with the picture of the end product on a table, told about the pieces. Told how the construction goal was to make the model look just like the picture on the box.

He likened fathering to following the picture of a good dad to our own dad's example of marriage & rearing of our children.

He then flipped the box top down telling how not having a model to follow is what has happened to the homes of today's youth culture with the lack of a father in homes. He had just returned from preaching a youth camp where the majority of the kids lived in a home without a father. "The goal of the enemy is to crack up the picture of the model to follow for generations & thus give those who follow a distorted view of the Heavenly Father."

Today at church we broke into applause when it was announced that # 15-ranked Mexico beat #1-ranked Germany 1-0 in the soccer World Cup Series.

It's good to have your priorities.
