Shocking Interview with Son of Steve Anderson

I think by that time he had gained the notoriety he was looking for and was done spamming us small-time forums with his opinions. He was trying to paint himself as some sort of super-patriot and was going around harassing airport security, border guards, and police about his "rights."
Yep. There was a time when he was known on the FFF as "Spamderson".

Some of the churches in Stevo's New IFB network have broken away, over the issue of his child abuse. Statement from Pure Words Baptist Church:

Pure Words Baptist Church

September 26, 2024 ·
"This is Pastor Salvador Alvarez of Pure Words Baptist Church. I have seen the testimonies of Isaac, John, and Miriam Anderson, and I side with the victims.
"I have been silent on the issue, not knowing who to believe. I knew that if even parts of the accounts were true more witnesses would eventually arise. After hearing Miriam’s testimony tonight and seeing Pastor Steven Anderson’s response to call people to stalk and harass his brother, I cannot honestly say that I believe he is blameless in this situation.
"Pure Words Baptist Church does not in any way promote or condone spousal or child abuse."

[Statement from Pure Words Pastor Alvarez, claiming that his church was kicked out of their rented location, as retaliation for speaking out against Stevo's abuse of his children]: "Shortly after, Pastor Steven Anderson's adult children started publicly revealing online the abusive behavior of their father and mother. Pastor Steven Anderson (PSA) had ordained Pastor Shelley, my sending pastor. I felt obligated to disassociate myself from PSA by publicly calling him out. When Pastor Shelley started excusing and dismissing the abusive actions of PSA, I felt it was my responsibility to separate myself from him also because of this huge moral issue of spousal and child abuse. Pastor Jonathan Shelley started retaliating immediately, preaching against me openly in sermons and railing against me online."

I didn't watch this video, but here it is for those who are interested - "Pastor Berzins's statement about Strong Hold Baptist Church separating from Pastor Steven Anderson."

Comment on Pastor Berzins's repudiation of Steve Anderson, from Southern Poverty Law Center web site:

"Some former congregants in Anderson’s NIFB movement have found these allegations and Anderson’s attempts to biblically justify child abuse disturbing and have split from Anderson. Two new churches that affiliated with NIFB in recent years, Hold Fast Baptist Church and Pure Words Baptist Church, have broken away, citing the children’s testimony and the responses by Anderson and his allies. One of Anderson’s oldest allies, Pastor David Berzins of Strong Hold Baptist, announced in an Oct. 6 sermon, 'We are — as a church — we’re separating from Pastor Steven Anderson and Faithful Word Baptist Church.'

"Berzins said he could personally corroborate some of the Anderson children’s allegations. 'There are two specific instances that they told stories that I can, firsthand … being me or my wife, say, "Oh, I remember that," or "I remember this part of that," or a portion of the story that would definitely corroborate their memory,' he said. 'That gives a lot of credibility to the accusations.'”
