That is an historical event, but hardly a "school shooting" with no cause. Seems he was upset over politics where he lost an election. I am talking about random shootings in schools and other senseless violence. These sort of acts were not the norm before psychotropic drugs were pumped into our youth like aspirin. It could be the desensitization that has come about with all the violence and bloodbaths seen on TV and in movies that are playing 24 / 7.

There have been loonies and murderers in all civilizations and cultures throughout history. Though school shootings might be more common, the lynching of those of a different race certainly has declined from what it once was. Evil is going to find its way through one way or another. Same evil hearts, different display of said evil.
