She STILL supports him,even  thru the barrier of iron bars. Recently bragging about how good their marriage is.

Cindy has filed for divorce. The reason being given is to limit her liability from a civil suit brought by Jack's victim. It's possible that she is changing her mind about all of that.

Whatever she has to say to feel better/make herself think people accept her decision...
  She is in a great position to win 'Cougar of the year', if she goes hunting for a mid-life crisis 40- something who is in a buying- happiness spending frenzy. 
Seriously, though...She has just begun on a journey that may very well bring her fave to face with herself and her God...hopefully so.
