Jack Schaap will be sentenced to prison this week and, as I type this, I am weeping for him and for my sister. When I think of him sitting in a jail cell right now, my heart can hardly handle the ache. Many people have an attitude of,

Well, for you who drank the koolaid and worshipped hyles, she has nothing to say.  You can bash her all you like, but her words make tons of sense, and she has tons of credibility to me.

But to thinking people who want to know what happened to Jack Hyles, and how he ruined what started out as a good ministry, she has a lot to say.

You don't even know me..........I never drank any koolaid. I have never been a yes person.....you're welcome to follow every word of Linda's but there are other opinions than just her...I don't argue with people these are just my own thoughts...follow on

redeemed, Ditto!! I'm going by my own experience being in some classes with her. I also saw her out shopping with her dad and they were laughing and having a ball. These are my opinions that I observed many years ago.....and after many years come forward with the stories....

I still respect you also because we can still be friends and disagree........if we were all the same it would be awful

If you read what she says, you understand. It was very hard. And it is her family. Can you imagine howw hard it is to villify your family?

Ok, your opinion is that no one cares.  My opinion is that thousands of people care.  They want to hear what someone with integrity and a willingness to confront the monster has to say.

Seems like The Hate Hyles Kool-Aide drinkers want to believe whatever Linda has to say as the gospel truth. Maybe it is. Maybe it isn't. The point is simple... why is she automatically given "credibility" and "integrity" without any varification or scrutiny?

Confront the monster? You mean talking about a dead man who cannot defend himself and a prison convict? Who exactly has she confronted?

To date Mrs Jack Hyles still maintains a public persona that her husband was an upstanding Christian and he was lied about. Will Linda confront Mommy?

After the Sumner article broke ... Dr Hyles took a Sunday night to address the accusations. I remember MRS HYLES leaping to her feet -more than once- in applause when Dr Hyles came out swinging that night.

Soooo, IF Linda is right then who will deal with Mrs Hyles .... BUT if Mrs Hyles is right then why should we give credibility to Linda?

Many years ago ...15 or more... I heard two known IFB inner circle evangelists state without hesitation that Linda's personal life and "exploits" still made Dave look like a choir boy. It was in response to a question about where was Linda.

I just asked questions. The fact you responded as you have is proof you're a Hater Kool-Aide drinker. She may be right. But she may be wrong. Before she gets an automatic pass and her every word attributed as a nugget from God .... there are still a couple of hurdles like her mother. That was the point.

Having grown up in it and forced to comply, I am sure after she left it took her close to the same amount of time to deprogram herself and then more years to be able to make the stand she is making now.  I am sure the onslaught from the Hyles followers is quite extensive and requires quotes bit of strength and courage.

I'm sure those inner circle IFB evangelists did not have an agenda or any loyalty to Hyles.  I'm also sure they did not participate in the IFB gossip line.

Seeing as you're "in the know" and were there for the funeral rehearsals and you're an apparent co-writer of Mrs Hyles speech and post death PR campaign so she would have a home to return to ... explain why she still speaks in IFB conferences despite leaving Hammond ... has been in contact with the new Hammond pastor ... and still maintains her husband's Christian character despite being financially free from Hammond and IFB control?

She's either a liar or ... wait for it ... Hyles was not the monster you lust for him to have been!

No agenda. Someone casually asked if anyone ever heard from Linda. One of the men said that Linda had her own set of issues that made Dave look like a choir boy. The other man nodded in agreement and the subject was changed. The conversation predates Hyles death and any of this current mess.

Mrs Hyles moved to Dallas. Had maintained a friendship with Mrs Criswell through the years so she attended FBC of Dallas to be me in Mrs C's Sunday School class at the time. She still speaks at IFB conferences where her husband is still loved. She doesn't have to. She chooses to. That is telling in and of itself.
