I expect them to retaliate. But that's not the real issue, is it?If attacked what do you propose the Israeli government do when provoked or when they are attacked?

How many must die while we debate Zionism?sorry.... but to me that still sounds like a negative knee jerk reaction to hyper-ifb support of zionism.... ..there is nothing in scripture that prohibits us as a nation from defending a friend and ally who has been attacked... .. especially when the safety and security of that ally is linked to our own........
just because their personal reasons for being there might be wrong... it doesn;t mean we can;t ..or shouldn;t.. have our own reasons for wanting to support them there.... ..
have you been paying attention?.... or are you... like bruh... suffering from a knee jerk reaction to hyper-ifbsm?.......... ...it;s not about zionism.... it;s about the safety and security of a key u.s. ally - whose safety and security is linked to our own.... ....How many must die while we debate Zionism?
I have. America's safety doesn't depend on Israel. Israel's depends on the U.S.have you been paying attention?....
i didn;t say our security depends on israel.... i said it is linked to it...... as is the safety and security of all u.s. allies.....I have. America's safety doesn't depend on Israel. Israel's depends on the U.S.
who?....... never heard of him....... and why should we care whether he did or didn;t?.. ..... is his name behind one of those stars on the wall in langley?...... .......Wow. If only Lahaye were still living. Do you think he saw Biden coming?
Oops. I meant Hal Lindsey. But then is there any real difference?who?....... never heard of him.......
Agreed. Let's get the deed done with and pull out now and see who God fights for.The US will not be on the side of Israel at the final battle.
i don;t know who he is either....... nor do i care...... but i;ll ask an expert in international security issues and signals intelligence that i know later... and see if she knows him......Oops. I meant Hal Lindsey. But then is there any real difference?
and when will that be?..... tomorrow?...... 1000 years from now?...... are you implying you know when?........ it could be long after we are gone and forgotten and the united states is gone as well.... .... ..so... since you think you know what some of our descendants might do in 1000 years .. we should all just lay down and play dead now?.... .allow our key allies to be slaughtered?....... what if your assumptions about the teachings of revelation are wrong?......The US will not be on the side of Israel at the final battle.
sure .... and while we are at it we can pull out of nato... . stop helping ukraine..... break all our alliances with other countries including all of europe... canada and the uk...pull back from taiwan... south korea... japan.... ... put them all out there flapping in the wind... and see if God fights for them as well...Agreed. Let's get the deed done with and pull out now and see who God fights for.
I get what you’re saying, but I’m just tired of wars that do not benefit Americans. Israel, as far as I know does not give Americans anything. Friendship is give and take. It’s not one sided.sorry.... but to me that still sounds like a negative knee jerk reaction to hyper-ifb support of zionism.... ..there is nothing in scripture that prohibits us as a nation from defending a friend and ally who has been attacked... .. especially when the safety and security of that ally is linked to our own........

I’ve never had someone tell me that I’m their enemy because my view is different than theirs.Wow. I consider you my enemy...but, touche. Cheers.
I think we agreeI have. America's safety doesn't depend on Israel. Israel's depends on the U.S.
Pretty much the same for me.I’ve never had someone tell me that I’m their enemy because my view is different than theirs.
I'll jump into the fray and say that I've always heard that the fact that Israel even exists today is a miracle of God. If that's the case (and I believe it is), why do they need the US or anyone else? It is a fact that the Israel lobby owns the US Congress and the presidency. This article even says that Trump is carrying on in that same vein: https://www.lewrockwell.com/2024/12/chuck-baldwin/trump-picks-a-war-cabinet/ Personally, cut off every taxpayer penny to Israel. If all these "pro-Israel" churches love them so much. take them on as a missions project.I have. America's safety doesn't depend on Israel. Israel's depends on the U.S.
Question for those who emphasize that Christians should be "standing with Israel" - where is there any teaching to be found in the New Testament, any hint whatsoever, that Christians have a duty to support national Israel, whether the "Israeli" state that existed in the First Century until 70 AD, or the modern state founded in 1948? I am not aware of any such teaching or commands.
The destruction of the ancient Jewish state was predicted and decreed by Christ. Where does the Bible teach that we as good conservative Christians have a duty and a mission to restore and support the Jewish political entity in the Middle East, and what specifically are we supposed to be doing to bring that about?
I have no problem with Christians who want to "stand with" and support Israel or any other nation if that is their preference and opinion. But if we are going to make political support for Israel a requirement of our faith, I would like to know what is our scriptural basis for making this an issue of faith.
