The former first lady of FBC attending and teaching at First Baptist Dallas may be the best example of your op.

Absolutely.

Eric Capaci (Gospel Light Baptist Church & Champion Baptist College)

I can't remember if he was on staff at HAC for a short time or not.

He does have an honorary Doctor of Divinity Degree from Hyles Anderson
With him goes Johnny Pope.

Anishinaabe

Pope would fit the OP.  He was a staff member.

He was the first that Poped into my head.

So far we have.....

Roco Dapice
Fred Mooney
Johnny Pope
Beverly Hyles

Does Max Helton and MRO count?  He is in Heaven, now, so he' s definitely IFB, now.

Johnny Pope isnt IFB style? He still does a lot of preaching in IFB churches

Hope this clears it up.  We are looking for past staff members of FBCH/HAC the are no longer of the IFB stripe of FBCH.  I should have made it clearer in my OP.  I figured everyone would know the direction the thread was heading.

Being a leader in the fundamental movement does have its challenging moments, doesn't it, Raider?

Just don't write a slick looking book entitled, "The Fundamental Movement - Where Are We Heading?"  Something like that has already been tried.

Well, Fred Mooney left and is doing very well.  The public school he coaches at just won state champions - Marquette.  Way to go Fred.  The rest of his family, besides his mom are also all gone.  They all go to Bethel.

Does he still pick kids up out of their chair, carry them outside and repeatedly slam them into the locker?

'Twas a quite regular thing when I attended.

:-\

I am going to step out on a limb here. Is Jack Hyles still IFBX?

As far as I know Pope still considers himself an IFB.  I do not believe he is the IFB FBCH "type" anymore.

Brad Strand, Keith Gomez, Dave Hyles (DUH)

Even though Gomez doesn't associate with FBCH anymore, I would still consider him a IFB FBCH 'type".

lol. I'm sure he considers himself to be more FBCH than those of us at FBCH.

If a women wants to be a Sunday School teacher and openly wears pants.............Yeah, I think it is a Hyles church.

Also a regular thing for Fred in the early 80's was to give swats to the poor kids who forgot their P.E. change of clothes at home.  It was vicious with a 2x4 that had packaging tape wrapped onto the outside.  He thought it was real funny when he'd forget to paddle the same kid for a few days and then he'd have a "Payback Day" where he'd dish out the swats for the accumulated days all at once.  A BIG JERK!  (Also shameful, was that this kid was being raised by a single mom who was a secretary at FBC. Mooney could've made a huge difference in this kid's life, but chose to take a bully approach.  This still burns me up 33 years later.

That answers alot.  I have a family member who was in HB during the early 80's.  My family member used to get very angry any time Fred's name was mentioned.  He has grown as a Christian, and now simply leaves the room.  Whatever happened, it scarred my family member VERY deeply.  Personally, I saw Fred abuse kids in class (as I mentioned earlier).  One of those cases where us HB punks knew something wasn't right, but, due to the bubble we lived in, had no clue what to do - so we rebelled.
