Some have indeed given some great refutations to SC. I'd be very much in favor of letting him stay, but would be just as happy to see him go. Doesn't really matter... not my site.

It's obvious that SC is an evangelist for lefty thought (an oxymoron). As annoying as it is to see him spout off his "progressive" rhetoric, one of the things I appreciate about this iteration of the FFF, is the freedom he has to do so.

I think the value of this forum is it is a place where sound thought can share the same stage with absolute lunacy... often coming from the same mind. Seriously, how many of us behaves in our churches the way we do here?

I think the FFF is a big group therapy session for those who have been burned out by a cult of personality masquerading as a sound church. For myself, It helps me to get a different perspective on the road I have been down and where I am trying to go.

I'm just rambling... I'm actually having an awful night... Prayers appreciated... It's nice to take a break from myself for a few minutes.

Any time, brother. I always loved the FFF...it was through it that I finally came to the conclusion that I needed a break from fundy life. Don't get me wrong, I didn't stop following the fundamentals of the faith, but I did stop allowing the funny mentalists stop telling me how to live, worship, and love others.

Israel does not take military orders from Geritol Joe and the United States. Israel has plans to build Israeli settlements in Gaza and the West Bank after the war is over. Everytime Israel goes to war to defend itself Israel gains more territory. Eventually Gaza and the West Bank will be part of and belong to Israel. Russia did that with Crimea.

That is true. Israel captured the West Bank and Gaza Strip during the 6 day war in 1967 from Egypt. After the war is over I don't see the PA(Palestinian Authority) overseeing anything. I read that Israel wants to clear the war torn area and build 3000 settlements. Don't know if that will happen or not.
But I do believe Israel will totally control that area with their security forces.

As an American trying to understand Israeli relationships with Arabs in Israel it is very confusing to me. I got the impression that Jews literally hate Arabs and vice versa because of the news media I often see but here is a video of an Arab who was born in Haifa, grew up in Nazareth with Christians and Jews and later served in the IDF talking about his childhood. It is eye opening about Jewish/Arab relationships in Israel today. Very powerful.

There are so many prophecies connected with the nation of Israel and the return of the Lord Jesus Christ that it is impossible not to follow what is going on with Israel especially with the Jew hatred worldwide. Sorry to disagree with you.

I do keep up to a small degree probably more than the average person but definitely not to the extent that some do on here.

To require to do any more is adding to scripture and requiring something God does not, is my understanding.

But saying, we need to do this or that and these things aren’t found in scripture writes IFB all over it.

what would you like to see happen to israel?.... .. you know what the radical islamist who surround them have sworn to do to them... and then also come do to us when they have finished with israel...... ...would you like to see israel wiped out and every israeli man woman and child murdered?.......

i;m also curious if you have the same opinion that we should stop sending money to ukraine too and just leave them to face russia on their own....... we have a greater vested interest in assuring israels safety and security than we do in assisting ukraine..... but if we are to start abandoning allies and leave them to their fates then why stop there?........ who else should we withhold assistance from?

and saying we should abandon a key ally nation just because there is a denominational controversy over whether a certain majority group in that nation is still a part of biblical prophecy - has knee jerk reaction to IFB written all over it.....

taking a negative and in this case a very extreme opposite approach to something just because some religious group who might have wronged us has supported it - is foolish and self defeating.... ..when we are talking about national security a common sense approach that takes the different competing religious philosophies out of the equation is much better.... . ..

israel is one of americans most important allies..... i don;t see why that is so hard for people to understand...

sorry.... but to me that still sounds like a negative knee jerk reaction to hyper-ifb support of zionism.... ..there is nothing in scripture that prohibits us as a nation from defending a friend and ally who has been attacked... .. especially when the safety and security of that ally is linked to our own........

just because their personal reasons for being there might be wrong... it doesn;t mean we can;t ..or shouldn;t.. have our own reasons for wanting to support them there.... ..
