Youth Conference 2013

I had heard that he was candidating at some churches for the pastorate a few months ago but have not heard anything since. I wish the best for him and his family. It would also do him good to get out in the real world.

His dad making him a VP while still in his 20's did not help his credibility among the older men. I have heard though that the college young men really do like(respect, admire) Kenny. I have heard him preach twice and to me it was painful. Maybe to go somewhere small and distant and cut his ministry teeth on his own merits will do him a world of good. Keep in mind though this is the Internet and google age. The family history is easily accessible.

I know a number of current students, as well as many graduates & all speak very highly of Ken. Those that had him as a teacher loved him.

On another note I heard the real Rev. Bravo was not in attendance this year.

What gives??

Has he left Hammond or what?

The hearsay on that,...

It's my understanding that he operates out of Florida in the summer. His MIL is there and not doing well, Alzheimer's I believe. Since his job is a teaching job they go to FL for the summmer so that Mrs Tefft can help her mom and for them to enjoy the area there. He was expected or wanted at YC. Word is, again this is hearsay, that "they" (Lapina?) were not going to pay his way to fly him up, that he would have to travel back on his own dime.

When I went I loved the skits with Rev. Bravo and I enjoyed Chris Tefft's preaching. To me it's a loss that he wasn't up there this year.

I'm so sorry about Mil.... where in Florida?
