Who have you reunited with because of the FFF?

Teri in NC - I guessed who she was from my first day on the forum.  Seriously.  It was so easy.  ;)

She and I had been friends since freshman English with Cindy Schaap during the fall of 1982.  We stay in contact today through texting and FB.  We share Hacker stories, memories, laughs at RAIDER, and most importantly, prayer requests.

She remains a true, dear friend.

Southern Louisiana Gal/swamphag

I believe Teri in NC, SLG (I dislike calling her swamphag), kaba, and I all started in fall of '82 and graduated together.  I did not know her well at HAC (Teri had spent a night in my dorm room once - er, I mean - at her aunt's house.) and honestly, I had her confused with someone else from HAC at first.  The yearbooks helped and I put the right face with the right name.

We have connected her, FB, another forum a long time ago, and through texting.  I KNOW any prayer request I send her will be brought before the throne within seconds of her receiving the message......and she will keep praying.

I count her among my dearest, truest friends.

kaba already mentioned that we were on the same dorm floor.  She was also bus calling partner with one of my roommates.
Later, we ended up living within an hour's drive of each other for a few years, and we would sometimes see her husband at conferences.  One year, she honored my daughter and me by inviting us to attend and be a part of their church's Mother and Daughter Banquet.

I consider her one of my dear friends.

justmama - I figured who she was and PMed her.

We had several music classes together and also spent quite a bit of time on the financially withdrawn list together while at HAC.

I miss her soooooooooooooooooooooo much.  Still.  I still have that picture of her blowing bubbles.

I met up with 1611KJV at a Pastors School. His wife was a lady worker on the route when I came to college and I knew him a little from our college days.

I had the chance to meet Raider one Sunday morning before church started. The Bravo Doll and I went to say hello. Then there was the KJV summit where he caught me falling asleep,... Or so he says  ;D

Remember Bob Marley from the other FFF?

One of my brothers drove bus for him at HAC.  One never quite knew what might come out of his mouth.  ;)

He loves a good basketball team.

I knew who BaptistCityHoldout was while we were in school, but I did not really know him too well, although he and I both worked in Sunbeams.  (At least I think he's the one who did.)  We were FB friends, but I've not seen posts from him in a while, so I wonder if he unfriended me????

I did meet up with Invictus from the previous FFF one Saturday. We went to Cracker Barrel for breakfast and had a nice chat. He wasn't as "confrontational" a character in person as he was on the forum.

RAIDER - I knew who he was when we were both students, but I did not know him.  (I was very quiet and demure.  I still am.  Really.)
I remember that it seemed he always had a half smile/half smirk on his face.    I knew his sister much better as she was a friend's roommate one year.

As he said, he and his wife - she is a doll! - have stopped in my area as they were traveling a couple times.  My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the time we spent together with them.  They are fine Christian folks.

I know I can text them with any prayer request I have (and also any time we need to mutually make fun of Hackers.)

gonebutnotforgotten - I knew him in college but we weren't close friends.  We do have a lot in common, both being from western Michigan.

I would love if he were to finally join if only to see and read his post:

Who cares?

We are FB friends.  Did you know he was staying in a hotel on Calumet in Munster, IN, last week?  I reminded him to watch the basketball game in his room instead of a [ahem] different public establishment where he shouldn't be.

There are a few others I know and would consider friends although we've never met.

Another poster or two I think I know who they are, but I have not had confirmation.

No one. I have no idea who the Hyles any of you people are. I am just here for the circus sideshow. :D

We are trying to get Teri to join this FFF but she refuses until she knows who owns it.

I do. There is no more secrecy. The previous owner handed it off to me and I am easily identified.

If you wouldn't mind, please PM me your identity.

Please no friend requests unless we have met in person.

Wasn't wanting to be FB friends.  Just wanted to know your name (as owner of the FFF) so I can share it with Teri in NC.

Didn't I drive you to Chicago for work once?

I forgot justmama!!!! Out of college we worked at the same church for the four years we were there. She stayed on and eventually married and had a a daughter. We usually got in trouble together at work!! The first day she got there, the husband and I and justmama were shooting water balloons over our house (parsonage) at the cars that drove by! :) She had a few classes to finish at HAC and I drove with her from Rockford to HAC with her and then drove back. She got tired and I took over driving her stick (could BARELY drive it!!!) and I got lost. She woke up and I was like 40 miles out of the way. I never lived it down!!! Miss her too!! Loved her!!!

I hear the late show might have an opening soon!

AND i forgot Buffa, Bob Marley, John Mark. Met him my freshman year at college, worked in the same division. He was a bus captain of 89-1, then moved to I think 89-9 (new territory), dated and then married, going on 30 years.  I tried giving him back to his parents....but they wont take him!!
