1. Christianity is a horrible form of government.

a. Christianity was never intended to be a basis for government.

b. When Christianity has been implemented as government in the past, it has always been abusive and oppressive of its subjects.

2.  The ideas of communism and socialism and the principles upon which they are based are closer to Christianity than those of Capitalism (implementing them as a government, however, is not).

3.  Capitalism is not a form of government and cannot possibly be used as a government.
- Socialism and communism must of necessity be enforced and strictly regulated.  Capitalism requires no enforcement or regulations.

4.  Socialism relies on capitalism and cannot exist without it.

- You can

Ok who is going to be the first to say.
Wow, I did not know that, very enlightening and informative? :D

Is there something I need to simplify for you, t-bone?

No, I am not the one who took the LSD...but thanks!

Does showing this much ignorance come from a natural talent, or is it something that must be cultivated?

Pretty sure you were. Faith is defined as complete trust or confidence in something or someone. How long had you been chasing that purple dragon when you came up with your definition?

Maybe you ought to change your name to "Clueless" ...would be a better fit.  Generically you can have your definition of faith...biblically, God is always the "first mover" in all things, and we exhibit faith by our response to Him.  Can't help it if that is too much for your pea brain on your own magical mystery tour!

Instead of just saying "you're stupid", why don't you address which points you find particularly problematic?

I don't agree with some of what he says (mainly how he is assigning points to each category and the fact that he's ignoring other economic systems entirely), but if I choose to engage, it will not be with a "you're a stupid moron" but rather both my agreements or objections to things the OP has stated with explanations as to why.

Any point that you agree with is particularly problematic.

That work?

You do it your way and we will do it ours...that's the wonder of the country we are in.  As for my response to the Clueless one..."stupid is as stupid does"!

"First mover"!?! Roflmbo! That sounds like a song you and reformed guy could have sang together during woodstock (which was way before my time, btw). Now I have the answer to my question - you're STILL chasing that dragon, arent you?

Not to mention the fact that it's complete bull. What, was God the first mover in lucifer's rebellion too?

The answer to your question is "yes".

So you live, move and have your being completely on your own initiative?  Gotcha...you are clueless!

How about the Biblical way?

Remind them to be submissive to rulers and authorities, to be obedient, to be ready for every good work, to speak evil of no one, to avoid quarreling, to be gentle, and to show perfect courtesy toward all people. Titus 3:1-2

[/quote]

Oh but I did choose to respond in a biblical way after reading his OP...just not the particular biblical way you chose...

"Do not answer a fool according to his folly, Lest you also be like him.  Answer a fool according to his folly, Lest he be wise in his own eyes.  ----PROVERBS 26: 4-5

1. Christianity is a horrible form of government.

a. In the first place, Christianity was never intended to be a government either by Christ Himself or His disciples.
Christianity in its purest sense is simply a belief that Jesus is the son of God (the Christ). In an applicable sense it is a lifestyle in which people try to emulate Christ
