There Are No Infants in Hell

You totally missed the point. There are no babies in heaven, nor young children, etc. They are all 33 years old. Do you think there is a nursery in heaven?
There are souls in Heaven, and there are souls in Hell. And none of those souls have any maturing to do, neither do any of them need to be taught any thing.

Randy Alcorn in his book "Heaven" suggests that in their resurrected, glorified state, those who never had the opportunity to grow up and live a normal life will have the opportunity to do so in the "age to come." It may also be those who never had opportunity to parent their own children will raise them up as their own in a perfect new heavens and new earth. He is not dogmatic but this does seem plausible.

The underlying rationale behind this is that in the resurrection, people would pick up right where they left off regarding their given mental and intellectual capacity. Those who lived a full life will continue on through eternity building upon the knowledge and wisdom they attained during their life of mortality. Those who died in childhood will begin their eternity as a child and will grow in their knowledge and wisdom from there. How cool would it be to grow up and come "of age" in a perfect, sinless environment free from sin and corruption?

Where I am fully in agreement with Alcorn is that in eternity NO ONE (besides God) has a complete, perfect knowledge and understanding of all things. If we did, that would make us omniscient. Only God is omniscient. We will know more than we do now but our "schooling" will never be complete!

We will increase in knowledge and wisdom throughout eternity and glorifying God as we fulfil our specific gifts and calling! We will be fully satisfied in him and will never come to a point where we will have exhausted all there is to know about the wonders of God and his creation!

There are a few things that we are told, though, that are hard to reconcile with Alcorn's notions. One is that eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. And a big part of Alcorn's list is a host of things that men have seen and heard and desired for a happy life here in this existence.

Another one is that we are resurrected to a nature wholly different than the one we knew here. (We who are saved, that is) For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven. - Matthew 22:30

It is not a return to the idyllic existence of the Garden, in which marriage and procreation free of suffering and death was the main purpose of their existence. In salvation, we're not merely forgiven of sin. We are begotten of God. We become partakers of the divine nature. That was not true of Adam or Eve. They were made by God, not born of Him. What will be made manifest in the Resurrection is that we are the sons of God. (1 Peter 1:3, 2 Peter 1:4)

We are told that this corruption will put on incorruption. What's laid in the grave is a natural body, but what is raised is a spiritual one. Paul compared it to a seed. He said what comes up is not what was planted. There is no comparison between a rose in bloom and the dead husk that was planted to grow it.

And as far as knowledge is concerned, we will know as we are known, because we will see Him as He is. (1 Corinthians 13:12, 1 John 3:2)

Prove they're 33 years old.....What a fantasy life you have.

You mean they'll be 8 years old like you? How old will Jesus appear to be? 15? Then you tell me what age we'll be and "prove it". At least I didn't say we will all be male.
You may as well have said they'd all be males. Ah...I guess you're a pervert since you've got "X" in your name....LOL Nasty alien. You know what they say about aliens...what's up with a--l probing?

You missed the point. He is saying there are millions of infants burning in hell with an adult body. He has a twisted mind.

See the title of the thread. And the OP. I stated very clearly what I am saying, and it's nothing like the fables you're belching.

Also if you could answer X-Files's question posed here, that would be cool.

One more thing, there are no bodies in hell. All the bodies are still in the earth, except for Jesus's. I would like to know where you get the notion that one's soul is anything like one's corporeal experience.

I’m sure I’m not the only one on this forum who has had an infant or small child taken away by some tragic event and we are to believe that some day at the last judgment, these little ones will stand before God to be judged according to their works, only to be damned for eternity because they refused to repent and believe the gospel. I agree with Charles Spurgeon that said, "It has been wickedly, lyingly, and slanderously said of Calvinists, that we believe that some little children perish. They wickedly repeat what has been denied a thousand times, what they know is not true."

I'm not sure I understand what you're getting at.
"It is not a return to the idyllic existence of the Garden, in which marriage and procreation free of suffering and death was the main purpose of their existence." - You're missing the millions, yeah, billions that are ALIVE at the end of the Millenium and go into eternity ALIVE.
