I disagree with you here LG and I think it is a worthy comparison. It seems that everyone wants to look at some perversion and say that it isn't really that perverted because I never do another particular sin. This scenario could fit in a lot of slots.

To me I can not prove from scripture that sex by gay people is approved by scripture I do believe the emphasis and disdain shown by many Christians is not found in scripture. It is hard to believe that this issue is so important to God but never once in the recorded history of Jesus do we find him addressing the issue.
I have more to fear from an organized crime member living next door to me than a gay couple. To think otherwise would be the height of naivete.

Today in downtown Atlanta in the middle of the day, I'm getting in my vehicle on Peachtree Street. I look across the street and see a fully grown rather large black man walking down the street wearing purple cowboy boots, a matching purple mini skirt, purple sunglasses that were about 6 inches top to bottom with feather sticking out of them, carrying a little purple banner on a stick, waving it's arms and flipping it's wrist like a little girl jumping rope as it walked along the sidewalk. I cannot imagine being a parent and having your child see this kind of public and behavior (this had to be some sort of initiation requirement) and having to explain it to your children.
One Sunday after church traffic was held up on the highway that I normally take home. I decided to cut across Midtown Atlanta thinking it would be a shortcut. I had no idea that it was the day for the pride parade in Atlanta for all the people that you say have no effect on society. Evidently you've never been caught in traffic behind one of those parades and all the people that hang out to see the perversion proudly on display.
And you say that these people have no effect on society. Yes...................you are either naive or blatantly liberal but not biblical in your thinking.

The man you saw on Peach Street does not represent the majority of gay people. I doubt that he would harm you or a child. This would be in contrast of the mob person who may already have some hits under their belt. Do you really have a problem explaining to a child that this man is very unusual but is still someone Jesus loves and died for?
Gay pride parades do bring out the most colorful of the gay community. Doesn't mean they would do you any harm or even the most colorful represent the majority of the community.
Because some people are gay and happen to dress very unusually does not make them any more of a menace to society than you or I.
Since I am not your servant there is no need for me to agree with you to show you that I am biblical in my thinking. I so think there is much more damage done by one preacher who can't keep his zipper up than all the gay people that I know.

This discussion started because a poster called a gay person a "fag". Do you consider this appropriate or Christian?
Do you think a gay person that is in a monogamous relationship is more of menace than a preacher who can't keep his zipper up?
Would a gay person or a mob member be more likely to commit a crime against you?
