No, I don't know what you mean except by what you ask. IMO little will be "purged" as Congress will have to do it. Anything Trump does with an EO will be reversed by the next Dem. I will be thrilled to come back in 3 years and say I was wrong.

I think there is a better than average chance that a few things will be done via Congress…especially at the beginning of his term because even the Democrats are under some pressure to vote change…especially on the immigration issue.

I disagree. He defunds the NEA, Its never coming back. That is one example. You're delusional.

Immigration changes can come just by following the existing law. That's not at all what I mean by "purging". IMO, purging requires the elimination of unconstitutional agencies and departments, the stopping of all foreign aid and the elimination of thousands of Federal employees. Only by massive cutting of spending can we expect a reasonable tax cut that will not increase the debt and raise inflation.

The only real way for a massive cut in spending is to look at Social Security and Medicare and neither party has the courage to do such.

My Navy uncle served on the boats going into Cambodia. He told some interesting stories, including saying the biggest threat was tigers! The next were rockets embedded into the shoreline. He was convinced the Navy was trying to kill him as he was close to retirement.
