The Worthless Thread for Specifically Increasing Post Numbers

If you get hangry after church because it's been nearly an hour and no one has decided where to go for lunch, you might be in a Calvary Chapel.

If you're at a retreat and the pastor asks you for help short-sheeting the worship leader's bed, you might be in a Calvary Chapel.

If you believe attending church on Sunday is a mark of the beast yet you have no problem with renting out your church school's gymnasium to a newly established church on Sundays, you might be SDA.

True story... for a men's retreat, our church rented out a retreat facility that was owned by the Seventh Day Adventists. They provided cabins and cafeteria services. Only problem was there was NO MEAT on the property. So, instead of renting canoes or going hiking during free time, everyone hopped in their rigs, drove to town and went to the first McDonald's they could find.

If you keep coming back to the FFF on a Sunday evening around 8:30 pm hoping to see a new post but find nothing, you might be living on the west coast. (Or in the same time zone.)
that phenomenon of a vacant fff with nobody else on it starts around 5;30 pm for me.... we are in the same actual time zone as the western aleutian islands off alaska.... modified by 1 hour to make us a seem a little closer to the mainland..... but then 2 hours to the west of here it becomes tommorrow already..... 24 hours ahead.. 😵‍💫

it;s 4 am in hawaii now....🕓. ... and the first games of the womens college softball tournaments day 3 start at 5 am our time.... we have been watching them for the past 2 days on split screens and that;s also the plan for today.....

when you live in a remote and unusual place it requires keeping remote and unusual hours if you want to keep up with the rest of the world.... .it wasn;t like that when i first came here... it all the changed with the internet and 2000 channel cable tv... 🖥️

Funny. Saying you live in a "remote and unusual place." You could have a very successful tv show called "I live in a remote and unusual place." You know I am kidding.
of course... some people would say i;m remote and unusual myself.. 🙃 ... i guess that;s why i fit in here so well..... in hawaii that is - didn;t mean the fff.. . ...but i guess being remote and unusual could help with that too....😏

You may be in a remote area, but not unusual. Unique for sure. Not many females would stay around and stand up and speak for 17 years in an environment like this. There are a few of you, for sure.

That is awesome. My goal is about 3 more lbs. I stopped eating between meals and started running 6 days a week, 1 1/2 miles. I have been an avid weightlifter for 40 years, but that lends itself to a bigger appetite.
Ya. I found myself loosing weight when wife's parents became ill and eventually passed. I figured why let a good trial go to waste? I've been keeping up... more activity, less eating, timing what I do eat during times of activity, etc... it's a total change of habits for the long haul.

it;s actually been 19 years this summer .. ....which is kinda scary... ..i was the youngest member of the forum back then... barely out of highschool and finishing my second year of premed <-- which i never did anything with.... .. ..not much has changed since then.. thinking about that too much can get depressing.... but what;s even more depressing is that i can;t sneak into the movies on a childrens discount ticket any more....:cautious:... but on the bright side of that i don;t get asked out for dates by 16 year olds any more either... ..good side to everything... ;)

If you like Cheetos for dinner, you might be fat.
i use to eat cheetos all the time.... the jalapeno cheddar kind -🌶️🧀 .... right out of the bag with chopsticks..🥢.. and especially while on the computer.. .. with a large dr pepper right next to me - - and not the diet kind either...

i had to stop all that when the thing you said might be happening, actually started to.... ... but it;s only a matter of time.... i can;t hold it off forever... fatness is in my genes... (hhhhmmmm....in my destiny
might be a better way to say that... though both are true...:cautious: )

My well-rounded torso is often referred to as a Caines family heirloom.
i think i know what you mean.. ... well-roundedness in certain sections is common at some stage in life in women on both sides of my genetic heritage... ....extreme physical activity kept me from early inheritance of that particular heirloom for a long time.... but it;s the kind of thing that sneaks up on you..... by the time you realize it;s there it;s too late.... ....but as long as i can stay relatively fit in the cardiovascular category... and fend off diabetes at least until i feel i have earned it - then i am ok with the extra inches.... not trying to impress anybody i don;t already have keys to the heart of anyway.... ;)

When my brother was alive, you could see we had similar builds; barrel chested and pot-bellied. We were brothers of different mothers (same dad). He was 29 years older than me.

Then there was Uncle Tommy. Grandpa Caines made the rounds right up till he passed at 63. Uncle Tommy was 3. He got all his genes from Grandpa. I saw a picture of Grandpa and was blown away at how much Uncle Tommy resembled him. Tommy's son, Tom, is now the spitting image of his dad. Tom played football and is now a defensive coordinator for a Jr. College. I hear he's pretty physically active... Tom is the purest Caines I know of. I guess if a Caines takes care of himself, life is good. Sadly, many of us don't. Tom and I have done the best job.
