A long time ago, we had an extensive discussion about the ads on this site. Google chooses the ads based on your viewing habits.

One poor sap wrote in to complain about the pornographic ads he was receiving, and disappeared after having it explained.

My previous best one occurred after I researched "jihad" and got ads for purchasing Moslem wives.

But yesterday, I was swarmed on this site and others with ads for women's underwear. After clicking on the ad blocks, I still couldn't figure out how I got them. Today, while reading the comics, I found that one of them ran ads from the underwear company.
