My wifeypoo and I just came back from "Beauty and the Beast."

When I worked for Dave Hyles, many of my co-workers were a disgrace. But when I was a bus captain, every last single worker on my route was a servant of Christ. I wish I could find them and say

"It was an honor to serve with you."

Is that the movie with the gay character?

I think it is, isn't it?  But it's more about bestiality than gayness.  Interesting how that movie conjures up the name of Dave Hyles.

Is that the movie with the gay character?

I heard about it, but I didn?t see it.

I feel sorry for all your northerners who have never been introduced to Boiled Peanuts.

I have a can of them on my shelf.  A souvenir of my trip to Mississippi.

Boiled peanuts are not collectors items. They can't bless your gizzard if you're not eating them like I did today.

I
Just
Can't

And I was born and reared in the South.

I have no problem eating scallops, oysters, and other slime, but not boiled peanuts.

Gag.

Sad.............maybe that's why you are in NORTH Carolina not SOUTH Carolina.

THIS JUST IN!

Customers at Tony's Chicken Grill report that the new cook sweats onto the grill. The sizzle of the sweat drops can be heard by the customers.

We often have horses walking down our street after they get away. They like to eat the grass and really do not harm.

And then we have dogs that fall off our neighbors' roofs into our back yard. The entire block is one connected building, so the roof dogs can travel around.

But this morning, there was a horse in our back yard. Now, the yard is completely enclosed. There is no gate. The horse must have fallen off a neighbor's roof. He was pretty calm about it, and after I petted him and gave him an apple, I led him through my house and released him into the street.

Once he was on the street, the horse calmly headed off, and I could only shake my head and say

April Fool!

What?!? You've never seen a picture of Hoover, the most famous dog in the Gringo Zone of Mexico? https://www.facebook.com/groups/LAKESIDEADVOCATESFOR/permalink/1685148088396205/?comment_id=1935591100018568&notif_t=group_comment_reply&notif_id=1492096546700310

What? You didn't know that at a Mexican barbecue, REAL men take their own meat off the grill, using their fingers?

Thinking about clipping coupons again today......

My grandkids were in town for Easter (BTW they brought their mom) so we took them out to the park at lunch time and there was a gigantic playground equipment with climbing and slides. Up on top of the playground equipment on one post there was a big bull horn the kids could yell into one end as loud as they could & it would come out a lot louder the other end, like a megaphone . My four year old granddaughter got up there & started singing the lyrics, "He loved me ere I knew him & all my love is due Him" from Victory in Jesus. This made me smile as everyone of the park could hear her. They may not have recognized the words but I sure did.

That is great!  Now, don't you wish your church would sing the old hymns instead of the praise and worship stuff?  :)

Never assume, as matter fact on Easter Sunday they sang "Were You There When They Crucified My Lord."

So; we had a young hacker on here a few years ago that kind of got chased off. All kinds of problems and complaints etc. along with some emotional baggage. I have kept in touch on facebook because I like the guy but always felt a little sorry for him. He still has constant complaints, constant bad luck, no job, no money, living in a car sometimes, always needing a ride, can't get a job, etc. etc. A few times he had a job it was Starbucks or McDonalds  but never lasted.

I offered this guy a job where he could get started in construction trades and start at double what he would make slinging coffee and hamburgers. I explained that it was Indiana but if he was always between apartments and housing arrangements what difference would it make. I was kind of hesitant but I needn't have worried. Not interested.

People may be offended by your faith;

It also may be that you are just a jerk!

I saw this on unappreciated pastor on Twitter.

Who chased him off?

He left of his own accord but it was because he was being questioned a lot about some of the things he said.
