The Atlanta Braves finally win a game. :

One of my son's is a big Braves fan. For his "last" vacation with us before leaving home as a man, he chose going to a Braves' game at Turner Field.

We had fun, and they had the  best concession food of any of the  5 or 6 professional stadiums I've bern. (There was a rain delay mid-game. We got to know the concessions  workers quite well. Then we had to go home due to a hefty decrease in our funds. )

If this were Facebook, I would hit the "like" button.

Today my wife & I had lunch here in Atlanta with some folks who were members of the first church in which I served in 1981, some 700 miles away. What a delight to clip a few coupons while sharing how God has been faithful in our lives and to learn how He has been faithful to some in whom we invested so long ago.

Has anyone ever realized that all of what we call "evangelists" in much of the Christian world talk about and promote something they have never seen, explain in dubious fashion, and quite frankly, they all think it would come about through law; would be out of a job if what they claimed to promote and desire came to pass?

We've had  some rain in these parts of the country recently. Things are a bit soggy.

There also seems to have been more than a few posts in the forum lately that are lacking quite a bit in the areas of common sense, common decency, and general intelligence.

That's all. Not mentioning any in particular.

In My opinion: trump is a clown who is far more concerned with himself than he is with the USA. Kind of like the Clintons. If nothing else he could probably make it as an IFB evangelist.

No, and I am a little afraid to. I have read some clips from it but thats all.
