Surely Schaap Is Wrong, but Riplinger Is A Nut!
I'm not playing you're little game anymore. You know exactly what I said.
Yeah....I quoted it. At least be honest with yourself....
You didn't include a reference to Presbyterians but mentioned them in your first response. Very telling. You know they don't all agree and have no universal governing power to controls such.
Can we all just go back to the OP for one moment and agree that Schaap was wrong and Riplinger is a nut?  After that carry on! 8) :D

Have you ever heard of John Calvin? Probably not.....Do you know what relationship Calvin had to the Presbyterian church? Obviously not. Do you know what John Calvin believed about the phrase "descended into hell" in the Apostles creed?....... You're losing it

Did you forget your original point?

You didn't include a reference to Presbyterians but mentioned them in your first response. Very telling. - christundivided

So what was so "telling" about me not including them?

male chauvinism is a term used to describe the belief that men are superior to women    it is often used interchangeably with sexism and is closely associated with misogyny and perceptions of women as inferior to men especially intellectually    the unqualified term chauvinism is far more likely to refer to a male chauvinism than female chauvinism in the context of chauvinism as sexism

male chauvinism has been defined as a blind allegiance and simple minded devotion to ones maleness that is mixed with open or disguised belligerence toward women    it is also usually associated with an unconscious magical ritual to ward off anxiety engendered by these same women

And what does this have to do with OP?

male chauvinism was apparent long before the feminist movement and studies indicate that it has been as long believed and practiced as racism and religious persecution

Previous statement inbedded in her statement...what does m/c have to do with OP?
If you're going to just "wing" it when dealing with the doctrine... You really should do a little more research before you assume something.

I guess the Anglicans (and Episcopalians), Presbyterians, Methodists, Lutherans.... all got it wrong.  ::)

Some do and some don't. I depends on how its translated. Get it? It wasn't written in English and its been lengthened over time.

Get it? I know you know very little about such things but seriously.... you shouldn't participate in grown up conversations.
