She was 100% Hyles for many years.  I remember her voice sometimes sounding like a 6 year old girl.

I remember sitting in the balcony behind the piano so I could watch Mrs. Godfrey play.  In my opinion, she was the best musician on staff.  (I loved watching her play the organ in college chapel too.  She KNEW her instruments and was an expert in each.)

And having someone behind me tap me on the shoulder and tell me she knew what I was doing, and she was going to tell on me!!!! Was so afraid I was going to get in trouble!!!

Patriotic was such a Hackerette!  I bet she ran quickly to CF as soon as the service ended.

Too operatic (is that a word?) for me.  I remember when he came to my home church for a big day.  He was singing and the ushers allowed a couple of people to slip into the auditorium.  Ray stopped singing and began to lecture the crowd on how much he put into his music and the disrespect of people walking around while he sang.  Needless to say, it was his last time at the church.
