he didn;t do anything right either.... ... . there is a time to stand alone as a martyr for a righteous cause.. ..and being a strict constitutionalist is definitely right..... ..... but massie has no power to force both houses of congress to stay that true..... and all he did by breaking away is show that he is too stupid to see the importance of standing together when battle lines are drawn so sharply as they are now.... and when we are facing an opposition that is determined to destroy both us and the constitution too.... .

Yes that’s what the right wing media and Trump are tell us.

What was in the bill that was needed? That would benefit the average American?
 
I'm undecided about Massie, but what he's doing, or did, has nothing to do with the Constitution. And I'll promise you one thing, Dems love shutting the guvmint down, so all this farting Schumer did about taking one for the team and 'giving in' to prevent a shutdown is nothing but a plume of methane.

I’m not a true Trump believer but do understand that politics is pragmatic by nature. Massie is just another Ron Paul.

Actually I wrote it because it shows that the definition of RINO keeps changing. Anyone who disagrees with Mr. Trump is labeled a RINO. Which I find fascinating because Mr. Trump is more a Kennedy Democrat than any thing else.

So because the term RINO has become a way to denigrate anyone other than a Trump true believer, I believe that it shows that it has been co-opted by the sycophantic TFS (trump fanatics syndrome) sufferers to stifle any debate about his decisions or actions.

On the spiritual side (pious?) my concern is for Christians who not only won't question any of his decisions but will attack their brethren who do.

Trump is not a traditional conservative nor is he a traditional Republican. Trump is wrong on many many things in my opinion. He is also an egotist which plays into his verbiage. He is also one who speaks In hyperbolic terms. Which his enemies have yet to understand.

It appears to me that you are the one who attacks those who would dare vote for Trump…based on your view of your superior righteousness. You just can’t let it go that he won and is seeing success in the short term.
I don’t care what you think of Trump…or me for that matter.

Who did I "attack "? Would this be similar to accusing me of "superior righteousness" or that I am "pious"? Those cases were directed specifically at me. Is there any evidence that I said "Tarheel" is such and so? I have spoken broadly about attitudes. I have no control over who may feel offended by my observations.

You continue to fight what you perceive to be the righteous fight. When you insinuate/ say over and over that Trump is immoral and those who support him are therefore immoral in their choice. And you’re shocked that those you criticize take it personally.

Trump won…not even a close race. He proceeds to do what he promised. Is he a moral example? No, not what we elected him to be.
You just can’t let it go.

do we really have to address this again....... rmember your thread on "does tone matter?".... and how you denied attacking anyone or making accusations against them there too?....

you demaded proof that you had said those things - so i gave you an itemized list of several instances from right there in the same thread... links to your own posts... .. ... you ignored it and made no response....... to this very day you continue to ignore it and pretend you either never saw what i posted - or that somehow the passage of time either erases what you said in the past - or that the forum members have a terminal short memory span allowing you to be believed when you deny you ever said it....

that level of hypocrisy requires a kind of intellectual dishonesty/air of moral superiority that goes beyond merely being pious.... it says you are the kind of person who will attempt any crooked thing he thinks he can get away with..... though you are probably in denial about that too......
