Self Righteous Principles Purist

I'm undecided about Massie, but what he's doing, or did, has nothing to do with the Constitution. And I'll promise you one thing, Dems love shutting the guvmint down, so all this farting Schumer did about taking one for the team and 'giving in' to prevent a shutdown is nothing but a plume of methane.
Trump added to the debt. How is this good?

Just because you hold someone accountable doesn’t mean you hate them.
In fact it is quite the opposite. Pointing out that the church is called out from and to be separate from the world is an act of love. For the sake of the church, the betterment of the brethren and for the name of Christ.

The fruits of the Spirit in my opinion is the greatest separation from the world that a believer can do. Love for one another and by this they will know who we belong to.

P.s and the most obvious.

Your hatred of Trump drips from your words.

I fail to understand how you and sub trying to one up each other with spiritual platitudes has anything to do with whether or not one voted for Trump.

He mentioned seperation from the world. I wanted to be clear of my definition of what separation from the world is.

I’ve said it before and I’ll continue to say it. Trump is not my dad anyone can say whatever they want about him I could care less. He’s never sat at my kitchen table. I have no idea if he’s a good man or not. The only thing we see or know about him is what’s on social media and the news that’s it.

As I teach my children, social media is fake as is the news.

I certainly agree about Trump personally…I criticize him very often. But Sub argued that voting for him or supporting his political policies are somehow unspiritual

And I suppose voting for Harris is...

Yes that’s what the right wing media and Trump are tell us.

What was in the bill that was needed? That would benefit the average American?
The bill was simply a continuing resolution on the budget…to keep the government from shutting down’. Massie, to be fair, was consistent as to his history of voting. He knew it would pass but voted against it anyway, as did Rand Paul in the Senate. Personally I think criticism of him is much ado about nothing.

In a perfect world, we’d get politicians who would be fiscally responsible…and in that world Democrats wouldn’t believe men could have babies or fight to stop deportation of illegal criminals.

I agree. As I understand it…there is also adding to the debt which is why Rand Paul voted against as well.

Actually, Massie is not consistent. He voted for two very controversial CRs under Biden.

His only consistency is to vote against Trump.
