Pray for Leuthold family

When I told my husband ...he said why didn't he just walk away from the family.......disappear unless he has a girlfriend somewhere?

I have a feeling this may be the case.

wow.

On the other hand, he had good reason to have foreign currency and passports - he had been a missionary.  This seemed to be the focus of the information released.  Hopefully, the police have more reason than this for which they arrested him.

Sometimes people commit evil acts and we say, "I saw that coming".  If he is guilty, no one saw this one coming.  Of course, no one knows what goes on behind the scenes, but this couple seemed like a match made in heaven.  They were committed to the mission field.  She was a quiet gal that wanted nothing more than to be a wife and a mother.  Many times she would sing before he preached.  They have three young, well-behaved children.  My heart is broken for this situation.

Raider, it's news like this that breaks my heart .........Come Lord Jesus!!!!!!!!

I agree!  I don't mean this the wrong way, but I wish this was someone in another state that I didn't know.

As we celebrate valentine’s day, I can’t help but pray for the Denise Leuthold family.

Does anyone know if Nathan’s case has gone to trial yet.

This was such a tragedy.

Why in the world would make him do that?  Leave 3 children without their mother and father?  How very sad.

And, no, he is not a HAC graduate.

Why is that even guys in the ministry make such stupid, sinful & criminal decisions? The truth of the Scriptures stands:
-Sin will blind you, bind you & grind you.
-The wages of sin is still death (in so many ways).
-Be sure your sin will find you out.
-The thief is come to steal, kill & destroy.

The list could go on & on.

Tragic.

He was found guilty yesterday.

The jury was out 90 minutes.

Actually he was found guilty on Monday.  Please see above post with the link.

Wasn't there another case like this one that was discussed on the old FFF?  Seems like the husband was fairly young and worked as an ambulance driver or something.  I think his name was Cody but it was spelled differently.  I've often wondered how that turned out.

A sad end to a tragic story.  Prayers go out to his mom and dad who are faithful members of a Baptist church in the area as well as his in-laws who are also faithful members of another Baptist church in the area.  His in-laws have the three children.  Much prayer for them.

I follow NBC's Dateline on Facebook and it looks like their show tomorrow night (9/12) is covering this story.
