Most young people initially "FEEL" very uncomfortable changing in front of other students. For young teens, showering at school can be very difficult. There is an estimated 45 million school age children in the U.S. This excludes preschool and college age children. In an attempt to reduce the discomfort of a small minority we will increase the discomfort of millions of kids. Imagine their concern that at any time a guy who feels like it can walk in on them in the locker room. Each school should make one of the staff bathrooms a Judgment free bathroom for anyone who feels uncomfortable and leave the reg. bathroom arrangement the way it has been for well, ever.
  New stores could be encouraged to add a single person family bathroom (very practical these days) to each new constructions and new schools could add a single person bathroom during construction as well. Some form of tax incentive could be given to refit older facilities with family "gender neutral" bathrooms. Don't think you would hear an uproar with that.

There are no doubt some protestors that feel this way, but I am hesitant to label all those groups' motives as wanting to divide. In the case of the bathrooms, they are actually trying to remove the division/distinction between genders because there ARE people who are Trans, Intersex, etc. In this case, the goal was for them to feel safe by using the facility they are most comfortable. So the biological male who is becoming a female but still has 'male parts' is at risk by dressing as a female and going into a men's bathroom. Black Lives Matter? You mean there isn't an issue with police violence? It was the BLM group that consistently puts out information on unnecessary police brutality against people of all ethnicities, including whites. It isn't about division, but rather people feeling safe from out-of-control patrol officers. Occupy Wall Street, I don't know much if anything about so I reserve comment.

There is no doubt that sometimes groups and people DO go to far and purposely create division. But I cannot consider it to be the norm and I certainly do not believe it is Obama's desire to shred the nation with division and conflict. Perhaps his methods are wrong in his attempts to achieve peaceful living, but I don't believe he is at fault for trying to divide our nation. Even the gay marriage law was enacted to unite the states when it came to familial benefits. Granted there are those on BOTH sides that have taken the issue much further, but the intent was acceptance, not division.

Poverty? I've participated in it....and don't understand your point...except to repeat the liberal mantra. Our church has a food pantry, a resource center to help with utility bills, rent, furniture and in finding jobs.

War? What does that even mean? Again, a smokescreen liberals use because they have no substance, only emotional drivel.

Mental illness? Our church has an ongoing counseling ministry, staffed by licensed, Christian counsellors.

AIDS? Another liberal default hysterical buzz word. Our counseling center has dealt with many AIDS victims in the past...it's no longer an automatic death sentence.

Dirty drinking water? Oh brother.

You left out drug and alcohol abuse. We have 2 separate Celebrate Recovery programs.

And, in addition to that, I don't want a man to be able to enter a rest room or a shower room with my wife, daughters or granddaughters. Or yours, or anyone else's.
