Ken Schaap and his group starting a church in Cincinnati

Open toed shoes, walking shorts to the knee. Sleeve less tops or dresses...sweaters to tight to much makeup on ...nylons have to be wore...no way here...

Who are these couples? What are they going to do in a city that is worse than Detroit... who is supporting each couple? The website tells you where they are going.Details would be important.... ;)

didn't he go to NC and had his mom follow?  Now he is starting churches?

I love the way they build each other to be the greatest.........

He committed to be my assistant pastor in 3rd grade... ::)
Greatest Bible teacher in the world.... ::)
Taught 7 years at the high school level.... ::)

Does this mean he'll be looking for a fat chick in Cincy to throw a 64 oz drink at while out soul-winning?

JMO, but it appears that many former HAC only churches are no longer HAC only, resulting in loss of support, sending of students, outside meetings, etc.

Therefore, have "our people" start new churches across the country and we'll have places to go out to and preach at, and they'll send us students, etc.

I do not KNOW this.  It's merely my opinion from observations and my personal surmising from things I have heard from friends still at FBCH.

That said, I'm always for another church that will reach people in an area like Cincinnati (or anywhere else, too.)

Patriot if that's the case then I see
Hac closing its doors....what they have done to 40 year employees is unspeakable....and trying to get students to the college they need to go talk to graduates.....or alumni... who are sending their students to other colleges...

To the best of my limited knowledge...FBC is not sending this team to Cincinnati. It is the direction KS feels led to go. His personal sycophants comprise his dream team. It is probably too ...odd...for him to stay here. Have not seen him at FBC in ages. Am told he attends the satellite church in Crown Point. And yes, he and his dream team still have charter memberships in the club of extreme superlatives. I believe that they believe themselves to truly be the "greatest" this or that in "the whole world"!

I had also heard this.

Did you notice in his information that he mentions his "grandfather and dad" but never mentions them by name?

But is he going to bring in his radio broadcast?

<Tom is wondering just how many INDEPENDENT Baptist churches will be financially contributing to the start of another trendy denomination...>

Yep. These guys desperately need to get out of the FBCH closed system and into the real world of ministry. ...of course, KS should have done that BEFORE he taught Pastoral Theology at HAC but that would just be quibbling now, wouldn't it?

So far 40 churches and 5 families are supporting them, according to their website.

If your father and grandfather were infamous IFBs as well as an embarrassment to Christianity in general you wouldn't want to use their names in publicity for your new organization. IMHO

Their names are no longer used in a positive way in Hammond.
