Yep, the morbidly obese woman in the bikini is not porn. Porn is intended to arouse lust. That pic is intended to cause you to lose your lunch.  ::)

I wouldn't call that particular picture 'porn', but I believe it should be noted that some men do find big girls very attractive. The web is full of porn sites that cater to this demographic. I personally find big girls very attractive and pictures like that can actually cause me to lust ....

Good point. It's not very common but everybody has different tastes some are even perverted. Porn also must be deemed to be "obscene" to be considered porn. It must be arousing to one person but obscene to another person. This is how American law defines porn any ways.

I always believed pornography to be an image, book, or video illustrating erotic behavior and designed to generate sexual excitement. A picture of a woman in a bikini or even pictures of nude people are technically not defined as pornography.

Technically speaking yes but a picture of a woman in a bikini can either legally or illegally be used as a promo or teaser for porn particularly beach porn that often occurs during spring break when there are no families around. This is not just theoretical - it is reality. I've seen it and it's not something I want to see again.
Now if someone were to post a picture of Jessica Alba in a bikini - I wonder what the responses would be. A guy doesn't even have to  think or use his imagination to be aroused by that - and it's perfectly natural - we are not wired to just be aroused by the beauty of our wives or there wouldn't be adultery - David would not have been with BathsI taught in the Bible to be wise in these matters. David was a man after God's own heart - normally he wouldn't be thinking about being with another man's wife. Also Bathsheba may have also been a victim because of David's authority - she probably couldn't say no. Some think it was because she was naked - we don't know if that \was the reason David lusted - maybe David just saw that she was beautiful.  She probably shouldn't hav e been outside at all at that time clothed or unclothed - however being unclothed would have made it harder to resist. It is also indecent to be naked where one can easily be seen - does it really matter whether the naked offender is a man or woman, attractive or unattractive? Generally people don't think an old person is sexy but they still don't want to see them naked or even in a bikini - yet many frown on the thought of an old person in that state of undress or partially covered even though are not hurting any one in any way. But a young reasonably attractive woman in a bikini and in some places fully nude is tolerated and a sexy woman celebrated even though most men secretly (men are often suppressed by society's expectations of them)  or not are being aroused by the sight of her. It isn't just men that are repulsed by an old woman in a bikini - it's the women as well - that's why it's not ok for them but it is ok for someone who is young because women care more about how something looks than men do like when they go to buy a car - do men care about color as much as women do? That's a more minor thing to them. Not all women think this way - I'm just saying that it is typical. Men generally care much more about what the car can do. And men do care about what a woman looks like but if they marry one they care more about what she will do for him. Looks are not everything to men - only shallow men would care too much about looks.

Idiot.

I'm the idiot? You are the one who posted the picture! How was I to know someone would actually respond to my silly post by posting an ACTUAL image! And, sadly the fat cutie will not be removed by administration, but I assure you a thin little cutie would have been by now.

Either way the pic posted or one of a thin lady hardly is properly labeled porn.  Appropriate, well that is another matter, but to label it porn down plays the real porn and the damage it does.  It is this type of hyperbole in the definition of porn that leads to religious dead head preachers calling women heifers because they wear slacks.

So you're saying we can post a photo of a cute woman in a bikini on the beach? If yes, woohoo. No I'm just kidding. :D - If no then why not. We can post a warning with it or just post a link with a warning.

Why is this even a topic right now?

Not sure why this is a topic to tell you the truth.  My only point is that a lady in a bikini is not porn....is it appropriate dress in public, I think not, but to label it porn is clearly hyperbole...and it makes some Christians look more "boneheaded" than they normally do!

Actually the Scripture says she was bathing...taking a bath...doubt she did that with clothes on...just saying!

Ok...honestly, I haven't read your post because the lack of formatting makes my eyes bleed, but someone else's quote of your post drew my eyes to this...

You really have no idea what you are talking about concerning cultural norms of the time, do you?

What about bikini shows at the beach? Is it ok for any woman - maybe someone you know to show off her bikini to have men screaming admirably at them. I was at a beach where they had one 17 years ago - I didn't watch the show but I heard the screaming. It's a fair question and is on topic.

Ok I was just reading something about the cultural norms and I stand corrected. Let's just move on. It was all David's fault.

What about in states like Hawaii or island nations?
In these places, there seems to more respect for woman who wear bikinis - maybe because it's more normal there - bikini weather is year round? Whereas here it happens only at a certain time of the year (the summer).  Maybe that's why men here lust more after a woman in a bikini because it's not something they see every day. If we had warm weather year-round this may not be an issue.

women can do what ever they want

That is true especially on many North American beaches. Men however are only "legally" allowed to wear a speedo or euro style swimwear. This is because our bulges are either offensive or found to be funny to most people here. I'm not kidding. There's a reason loose or long shorts are popular now. Not every straight guy wants to wear them - they are not as good for swimming. It didn't used to be that way even in my lifetime. It used to be ok for men to wear whatever they want at the beach and every one didn't mind. What happened here?

i was referencing the op

I don't think the OP really wanted to know if it was ok or not.
I think he's the same Bob who was a troll on the old FFF (the dotcom one) so he posts things like this. It's interesting that it isn't an IFBxer posting this question like this.

Troll? Where did you get that? I was one of the first people to register here and I am not a troll.  I asked the question because I know it engenders good discussion.

I apologize for thinking you were a troll but I just think this topic is really untimely and people here don't think much about bikinis and beaches. I read somewhere that less than half of people in the U.S. even go to the beach - maybe even close to a quarter of the population. It's not something that is on everybody's mind at least not until you brought it up. Yes, I know that sites like Yahoo like to show us some celebrity like Julia Roberts in a bikini but otherwise we don't care - and I could care less about a celebrity in a bikini - talk about information overload. I care more about what they do (like charity work) than what they are wearing.
If you think the percentage I gave was not credible here's one good source.
http://today.msnbc.msn.com/id/32862930/ns/today-books/t/what-do-americans-really-want-tv-sex/#.T43V_Xq8in4.
Besides that, not all beaches are really safe or healthy because of pollution. Ones at lakes or even near rivers maybe but not so much ocean beaches. Certainly we don't see entire towns (small ones) being significantly empty - maybe in the old days that was so but it's different now. We have to check the news to make sure that it's safe to go on a beach or in the water.

Yeah, but look at how much discussion it brought out.
