If you could tell Jack Hyles one thing today, what would it be?

That's actually an interesting question...

Off the top of my head, I think I would ask him in light of his eternal perspective what he would change about his earthly ministry. And I think the answer would be a loooong one.

Would he change how he handled his children? That would be a long one also.....

I missed the assumption that this was the resurrected Jack Hyles.

The much more important question should be....

If you could tell your dad one thing today, what would it be?

I would tell him, "I'm sorry." When I left because of all the corruption, I no doubt acted in brashness and hate toward him. Though there is seeming logic for me to do so, I think rather than leaving with tears of compassion, I left with a hidden agenda to destroy him.

Though I still disagree with just about everything as I did back then, and still despise the hurt and hypocrisy that emanated from that place, I think my attitude toward him personally was wrong. I would tell him I now forgive him for hurting me and my family and I would ask for his forgiveness for my behavior.

Nothing; he would not listen to me.

But the question should be clarified; do you mean if he were still alive and pastoring?  Or do you mean if we could talk to him about his afterlife?

I wouldn't tell him anything. HE needs no information from me.  I would ask him what being around Jesus was like.  Tell me about Jesus.

Send your son to jail.  Send Bob Olsen to jail.  Send so many of them to jail.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. Jack Hyles also slept and virtually lived in his basement. I saw it with my own eyes. The arrangement he negotiated with the Nischiks emulated his own arrangement with Beverly.

He also punked himself.

He punked Vic, when he called him a wimp on national t.v.

I don't think he called himself one.
