The legendary Bob Scodova was the first person to be expelled from BJU and HAC ( in that order). He earned the nickname "Kissy" because he was expelled for kissing his girlfriend. The girl was not expelled,but one condition was that she never have contact with Bob again. Her father eagerly sought and enforced that agreement.
Bob was a good fellow, and his aunt, who was on staff at HAC at the time, got him admitted. We were room mates and got along well, despite the fact that he was a clown. He claimed that BJU had escorted him off campus without allowing him to get a trunk full of his items from storage. HAC investigated, and Bob Jones III personally paid to ship him the trunk and sent him a personal letter of apology.
They expelled him from HAC suddenly, and I never found out why. He married a Godly girl named Rachel Kimmel, and they later got divorced. After some searching, I THINK I found his home phone number and got an answering machine. He never returned my call.
