Abusive Pastors in the Pulpit

I've got one word to say about him:  :-X  ...it shouldn't be said.

I've got one word to say about his congregation if they continue to put up with that garbage:  MASOCHISTS

Well at least he is convinced that he is important...and so apparently have his beaten down sheeple...if he confronted me or many people in my church like that, he would get a response that he wasn't expecting

Is that normal in IFB land? Seriously, I have never heard anything like that come out of a pastor's mouth before.

Been there done that and some. This is quite normal in this type of church.

Do you see how all those people had their heads down because they are probably actually embarrased by what is happening but too beaten down to stand up. I remember that feeling. The preacher starts to go off on a college student who just got down working 50 hours, going to school for 20 hours, doing bus route on Saturday for 5-6 hours, and working on bus all day sunday from 6am till 3 or 4 in the afternoon. The only time they have to rest is in church on Sunday night and they start to doze and then the pastor starts in on them, telling them how such a horrible person they are, how they aren't worth shooting, but in the same breath says he loves them and that is why he calls them out.

Sorry but this video brought back some nightmares.

Unfortunately it is quite normal. I am glad that where I am now this kind of crap doesnt go on. If the pastor has a problem with something you are doing he takes you aside and kindly speaks to you.

He would say he yelled, screamed and called people out, as that idiot in the video did, because of this verse.

Just got a chance to look at the video and all I can say is WOW..........

I don't know what is wrong with those "men" but I know that type of conduct would never fly in my context.  I don't know of any ladies that would have let him speak to them like he spoke to the sound "man's" mom or any man or son that would let a guy talk to their mom or wife like that, especially in a public setting.

All I can say is WOW..........
 
Saw this video referenced and totally denounced on FB today...by someone many here would consider a raging Xer!
 
Has Frag weighed in on this yet? This "pastor" certainly would qualify as DOEG bait.
