Folks, I thought of this today, it's a new theory, it might be wrong, and I welcome intelligent discussion.

Why do so many perverts attend HAC?

Because God sends them there.

FBCH and HAC have damaged and destroyed the reputations of large numbers of Godly saints who opposed the organizations' sins. To this day, these slanders remain in force, and it is clear that these slanders will be permanently enforced. God forbids us to take revenge, promising that He will take revenge Himself.

Courteous comments, including disagreements, are welcome.

In any sizable organization, there will be perverts. That wasn't the problem. The problem was how those perverts were handled - the cover ups, the denials, the standing ovations, etc..

You know not everyone has perverts and I really resent your comments.  FBC/HAC doesn't make perverts, they create themselves within.  Look at any church or organization and you will find anyone.  You believe only FBC/HAC are the only ones who have "perverts".  You whoever you are must have nothing more to do but create hate and anger because of a few people who have done wrong.  It was their doing and not that of FBC/HAC.  They attended and they're out.  Your new theory is nothing new.  Perverts are in our streets and society, churches, offices, doctors are perverts, lawyers are perverts, pastors are perverts, fathers, mothers, - should I go on???  Enough of the garbage.  Move on!

A couple years back, two, and only two, clergy in the US committed suicide. One shot himself as police surrounded his church building to arrest him for child porn. Another hanged himself in his jail cell after he was charged with raping a woman he had picked up at a bar. Both were HAC grads.

I don't know if it's still true, but about four years ago, HAC had more pastoral grads in jail for sex crimes with children than every college and university in the Southern Baptist Convention combined.

The explanation that "everyone has perverts" doesn't work--HAC has far too many.

I don't know if it was ever true.  Show me this supposed research.  I find that absolutely inconceivable that this would have actually been legitimately researched.  Sounds more like a Do Right Quote with the veracity of a Ferguson Eye Witness.

BS.... absolute BS.  What year and I could produce names. The suicide rate for clergy is actually petty high.

I'm afraid that I drew a blank on Nick Minerva. At the time, it was even posted that the police had done a lengthy investigation of him and had found out that he had graduated from HAC. Their list of things to look for in a suspected pedophile included HAC graduation. I was able to find a news video that said that police had been investigating him for over a year, but the video did not state where he graduated from.

X-Files, if you can provide any link to a reliable source stating where he graduated from, I would appreciate it.

Why are flies attracted to warm cow patties?

Consider the content of what they have been exposed to...Very little (if any) theological content...everything for the numbers.

How about I call his widow?  No, that wouldn't be appropriate.  But I did call a VERY reliable source that confirmed he went to Pacific Coast Baptist Bible College.

I think Pacific Coast Baptist Bible College was in San Dimas and if my memory serves me correct was a BBF college.  I don't think it exists any more, but I might be wrong.
