are you redgreen? I couldn't vote for Obama because of my beliefs....I do wonder what will happen when the monies run out for Obama's programs? We are headed for some rough roads but I go back to my Bible stories I've taught if the christians survived surelly I can..........

Admin, thanks for banning him even if it is for only 24 hrs. It is so nice to be on a forum with an admin that is watching everything.

I know dead people and illegal aliens and fictional people all vote for Obama, but isn't it too late?  I'm pretty sure he already cheated his way into office again. 
 
Castor, I don't think Obama cheated his way into office this was an vote from the left which was college students and the elderly who voted for Obama knowing that he hates Israel....I still can't wrap my head around that but my friend who is jewish educated me on programs that are important to them..........

I'm convinced he cheated his way into office.  All he needed to do was win a couple swing states.  Key districts of swing states had impossible 110%-140% voter turnout, with 99% and 100% of votes going to Obama.  Add to that all the machines that voted for Obama even if you picked Romney.  Add to that the fact that pro-Obama unions were put in charge of maintaining said voting machines. 

Personally, I don't plan on voting ever again.  What's the point when the elections are fixed? 
 
Well Michigan took a step which made it a right to work state..........I'm sure the unions were having a fit over that...you did make some good points. Until we can't vote I'm still going to stand in line..the people in Miami Dade stood in lines for hours to vote...

I mean general election -- I'll vote in local elections, since I don't think there's cheating going on locally. 

If Congress ever takes action that would convince me that elections are as fair as possible, I'll vote again in a general election. 

I think it's too late, though.  Nobody is even making it an issue, so I don't see how it will get fixed. 
 
Does anyone know if the general elections were fixed prior to the election of President Obama or is this just something that developed in the last 8 years?

I seem to recall that the JFK election was fixed.  I don't know about any elections in between. 

The election that gave Al Franken a seat was fixed, and Allen West was probably cheated out of his seat.
 
Hard to believe that in all these years only three general elections have been fixed and only elections where Democrats who were popular among African-American voters.  Is this a pattern that we can be 100% sure of?  If the candidate is popular among African-Americans and a Democrat and not Bill Clinton, Jimmy Carter, etc. then the election is fixed.  Hmmmmmm...........  Sounds pretty wild to me.

I didn't say only three elections were fixed.  I mentioned three that I believe or suspect were fixed. 
 
By the way, if there is a pattern where Democrats cheat most often, that would not surprise me. 

Only 20% of the country self-identifies as liberal, and a much smaller percentage self-identifies as far-left. 

So if a liberal Democrat runs for a fair national election with well-informed voters, then he can expect to get roughly 20% of the vote.  Period. 

So how do Democrats win so often? 

1. Democrats can be honest and still win local elections in areas that have high concentrations of liberals (ex. New York City, San Francisco, etc.). 

2. Democrats can and usually do lie in order to pretend to be more in the center (as well as lie about their opponents), and win based on falsehoods and promises they have no intention to keep. 

3. Democrats can and do rely upon a very misinformed (the mainstream media is nothing more than a left-wing source of propaganda these days) and uninformed voting population.  This is probably the biggest problem of all. 

4. Democrats can and sometimes do cheat. 

5. Any combination of the above. 

(EDIT:  Also, in the case of Obama, and some others, they can play identity politics and the race card to get more votes.  I assume many black conservatives voted for Obama simply because he's half black.)
