I assume you cleverly added this post in the vein of a FFF contrarian, but there's a boatload of nuanced truth in what you wrote. Many people throw out terms of derision as pejoratives, and the definition of legalist is very much a shifting target to nail down (though in the context of evangelical Christianity I think we could arrive at a decent generally agreed upon definition on the FFF, but maybe not
