I find it exceedingly difficult to take seriously any argument written by someone adopting the name "Bush Bitler."

Of course I'd say the same thing of Bill Blinton Bol Bot, or Ossein Obama O'Marx, so . . .

It does make for a nice sock puppet name, doesn't it?

I confess, I        AM                a sockpuppet. But this will be my last post. I feel bad about it because I feel like I am lying. I guess I am in pretending to be "Aunt Bea". I just thought it would be nice to start over with a new personna. But for Ransom, this name "Beatrice Bush Bitler" actually is one letter off from a REAL person in christian music: Beatrice Bush Bixler. She wrote some beautiful songs in her day. President Bush had nothing to do with my choosing her name. But I can see how it would sound alarms.

"Aunt Bea" is going to sleep now.

Let's suppose you are a professional florist. A same-sex couple comes into your business for wedding floral arrangements.

What would you do?

1) Provide your services assuming you are displaying God's Love.
2) Provide your services since you need the money.
3) Provide your services for some other reasons.
4) Preach hell-fire and brimstone while explaining you can't provide same-sex couples your services.
5) Become concern about what your pastor would think and explain you can't do this service because of moral convictions.
6) Charge a much higher price for the arrangements and hope they go away.
7) Other ....

The question/idea for this thread came to me the other day and I thought it might create an interesting conversation regarding Christian interactions with the world around us.

Let's suppose you are a psychiatrist. A moron addicted to internet forums comes into your office with an absurdly unrealistic hypothetical question.

What would you do?

1) Provide your services, but charge double your normal rates.
2) Provide your services at triple rate since you could use the money, and the person obviously has more money than brains.
3) Provide your services for some other reasons.
4) Preach hell-fire and brimstone while explaining he needs to get off the internet and get a real life.
5) Call the police and have him committed to a mental institute.
6) Other ....
