When DouglAss left he left talking about how he didn't like the way FBC was run by Ed Lapina and Mirian Garcia. I wonder if Douglass tried to make his church in TN a mini FBC.

I'm still waiting to get more information on exactly what happened, but it did have something to do with the extremely bad legacy left by our last two pastors. Someone in the church started reading a couple of the books about them and it went down hill from there.

He may have tried to pull Man Of God ism on them. They are an SBC church where the deacons control what goes on. That would have got a MOG bounced on his ear.

It seems like there is so much corruption coming out if this church, maybe it would be better to tear it down, form a couple of smaller churches on opposite sides of town, and start over. Has this ever been considered?
