Trump Shot (at)

Saw it on mainstream news. Word is that there were a couple of fatalities who were bystanders in the crowd plus the shooter was killed. Trump's reaction was priceless! He will be fine, may even get him a little boost in the polls as well.

Sucks that all this happened though! I don't want Biden getting shot at either! Pray for our country!
 
Just heard a CBS correspondent blame Trump for his own attempted assassination by saying his rhetoric from Jan 6th was the stuff that brings about this kind of stuff. Unbelievable 😡

i already heard one conspiracy theory that the whole thing was probably an inside job to help boost the trump campaign...:rolleyes: .. and another consp theory that the secret service knew it was going to happen and purposefully waited to react until trump was already under the podium..... :mad:...... even my tin foil hat friends who insist the government is covering up bigfoot and aliens don;t buy into those 2 ridiculous ideas......
 
And why did the local law enforcement agencies who were assigned to that area outside the perimeter by the secret service NOT respond to eyewitness claims of a man with a gun climbing to the roof of the building?

i don;t know for certain.... but i think they probably did what most law enforcement and even first responders do, and focused entirely on the people trying to get their attention - rather than look in the direction the people were pointing... .. it happens on the beach when people try to get a lifeguards attention to point to a shark in the shore break too... . it;s frustrating for the people trying to direct the responder to the emergency - but it generally takes a few minutes for the officer to figure out the emergency is not with the people yelling but somewhere else.... ... unfortunately those few minutes were all it took for the gunman to take aim and fire......

ideally it should have been law enforcement or secret service themselves who first saw the guy on the roof.... and they should have all been in contact with each other by radio so they could alert each other to what was happening and with no confusion about it..... lots of questions to answer on this one......

Great questions. I just saw a diagram of the layout of the rally and I can't figure out why the secret service didn't have the building where the shooter was secured as well.
