This guy is a pastor?

NO.

Problem.  People speak before they know what they are speaking of.

He is an evangelist out of that church.

However.......calling people down is par for the course up there - or at least it once was.

Interrelated conditions allow this video clip to make sense. It is what you expect to see, hear, and experience at a Church like this. Does it make it right or wrong? Far be it from me to judge - but I wouldn't be comfortable setting my family under such a system.

I just hope the gospel preached from this Church is the Biblical Gospel of Jesus Christ.

I hope the people saying "Amen" to this minister read their Bible like they should.

I wonder if he really believes that a person will reap what he sows...I doubt it for himself, but only for others...if so he would not be such a donkey's behind and falsely telling the man that he loves him.  This kind of misuse of the pulpit makes me sick...and if he did that visiting my church I would correct him just a publically as he did that person.  But then again I would not have the blowhard in my church!

I did not realize until after I graduated from HAC that HAC is not the norm, and I serve a loving God-forgot this for the 4 years I was at HAC!

All I see is EGO!

He is not a pastor and not even an evangelist "out of that church." He pastored for a short while at one point in his life, he taught at hackadoodle for a while, and when he was relieved of his position he went into evangelism. He stepped out totally in faith is the way he tells it but he really didn't have any choice. And yes, he is a blowhard and a braggart. He is pretty much the unanimous vote for "Worst teacher ever at hac".

Last year when he preached at my old church he stated he was an evangelist out of FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH HAMMOND.

That is his home church but not sending church. Part of the agreement of him taking a hike was a glowing recommendation by Schaap that he would place in his ads..... Wonder if he is still using that?

Nope...while he does mention Hammond and Jack Hyles (as he led many people down the isle to Jack Hyles...puke).  There is no mention of Schaap.  But bless brother Larry as he left a $1000 a week postition to go out on faith as an evangelist...again puke!

Reading this about this idiot bothers me. I don't care to know what someone gives, when I read this I look at it more of someone bragging. Same thing with how many you run in church. Because you have more people, the pastor is better then someone else. Again this is from the early IFBX upbringing I endured.

Brother Smith learned about giving by faith in 1957 when he gave all he had, $5.00, to a Christmas missions offering. In 2006 Brother Smith and his wife Estelle were privileged to give to faith promise in excess of $300 per week by faith.

I seem to recall Jesus saying something about those people who like to trumpet how generous they are on the street corner.

Maybe Smith would know this if he spent more time with Jesus instead of telling stories about cheeses.

This.

Wow, what a tool. At that point, the whole congregation should have started talking, just to annoy the snot out of the old fart.
