Be care there, Twisted, you may be giving evidence to prove something you don't want to prove.

An alternative to just assuming everything bad in the world is caused by the jab is that if there are very few cases of COVID, perhaps people who have been putting off procedures and being seen for health issues now feel with COVID under control it's safe to go to the hospital again.

Number of deaths show we are on track to have fewer deaths in 2021 than 2020. 2021 numbers are through September. If you figure it out monthly 2020 comes to 281K deaths per month and 2021 comes 255K deaths per month. If this is happening in Ventura county it must be an isolated thing since deaths are actually down in 2021.

Really? Have you noticed any visitors coming across our southern border? Emergency rooms are the primary care physician of the illegal alien. Trump had the flow down to a trickle, now the faucet is wide open. Also some who were more fearful of COVID probably avoided treatment and now that things aren't as bad are seeking it out. The good news is the so called additional activity at the ER's isn't resulting in greater deaths. Deaths are actually down from 2021 levels.
 
I work for a company that employs more than 100 people. On January 4th, the vaccine mandate goes into effect for companies my size. I've been there for 35+ years and always had above average performance reviews even when I was a young whipper-snapper college student - many times being told my manager wished I could be cloned. I won't be getting the vaccine. I've had COVID - missed maybe 4-5 hours of work because of it. I'm not afraid of getting it again. Hopefully, they will figure out a way to keep me around.

Are you a Federal contractor? Federal contractors have until December 8. There is no mandate for any private company (yet) unless your company is making one up.

Private companies with greater than 100 employees get hit with 14k OSHA fines starting Jan 4.

The company my wife works for is a "government contractor" and they have over 40K employees worldwide. I don't believe my wife will be getting the jab though! They've not said anything to the about being forced to do so.

I think eventually the courts will overturn this but who knows how long that will take. Do you have a job that they could classify you as a contractor? The OSHA ruling does allow for weekly COVID tests instead of vaccination-although that doesn't sound like fun. I have not heard of any standard as of yet on the weekly tests. If an employer simply asks that you show them your negative at home test. Seems like an individual could show the same test for several weeks. A lot of employers who want keep their employees are going to primarily be concerned with checking the boxes to avoid the OSHA fines.
