The Hacker vs. HACcer Test!

Sorry Folks, but I was a HACcer before any of you came along. I probably should go back to spelling it "Haccer," though.

Raider, this is the second time you have attacked me with clear, solid testimony about an event that occurred before you were at HAC.

Years ago, while lurking on the various FFFs, I noticed that few of the original Haccers would have anything to do with these sites. HAC started out as a wonderful place. Jim Vineyard introduced hatred, slander, and violence, but his Gangsters really only affected a small number of students. The students put a stop to it, and HAC ran him off while I was still there.

The FFFs have always attracted haters, people who needed help, people who wanted to help, people with justified anger, slanderers, and truth-tellers. From being one of the most successful Christian forums on the web, FFF has shrunk to a minor site on which a small number of attackers drive off new posters.

The FFFs have helped a lot of Haccers, including me, realize that we were not as alone as we thought in observing sin.And the sites have helped Haccers utilize the good things they learned at HAC.  But as the number of people giving false testimony grows, the site becomes steadily less beneficial.

Sorry, Vince, but you are wrong.

HAC had so many more problems than the issues you had with JAV.  SO-O-O-O-O-O many more!  We can start with pride, head into the multitude of scandals and round up with the admonition to sacrifice your family for the sake of ministry.  SO-O-O-O-O-O many more problems than just JAV.

Remember, just because you weren't there to see it, doesn't mean it didn't happen.  Stop playing the ostrich.  Methinks maybe your recollection of HAC has been grandeurized in your memory.

I happen to like this formation of the FFF much better.  The vulgar are not allowed here.  The site is moderated to keep the link wheelers and trolls away.  Because of this, the quantity of hits and posters may be down, but the site is much more trustworthy and informational.  Good debates happen here, and, most of them are good debates - not just swearing and name calling at each other.  Let's not forget that the searches for this site may be down to the lack of scandal happening at FBCH - WAY TO GO PASTOR WILKERSON!

Amen.

I heard once that the "humble" man does not think too highly of himself.

A humble man does not even know he is humble.

So far that can describe Pastor Wilkerson.

I have not heard him say he is humble, but he is, I don't think he knows that he is a humble man.

I have never heard him preach on being humble or living for others, he just is, without the bragging, screaming and bloviating.

FBCH seems to be going in a new direction, following Jesus and not a sinful man.

Vince, when I was at HAC we would describe you as a stinkin' Hacker.

And what is is about Cast's sermon that impresses you the most, Raider?

Her disobedience to the command not to judge?

Her disobedience to the command not to speak evil one of another?

Her disobedience to the commands not to scorn?

I kind of liked it all.

Well, Yeah, I was. I thought  that obeying man-made rules made you holy, that people got saved by repeating a prayer, and that it is sinful to object to sin. And worst of all, I supported the "no criticism" rule.

I can spot them a mile away!  :)

I confess. I was a Hacker. And a Haccer.

And I have observed an interesting phenomenon. When you say something good about HAC, people jump up to complain about all the sin. When you say something bad, they jump up to complain about all the good.

When I was there HAC excelled at Godliness AND sin at the same time. The best I can do is help ex-students utilize the good while discarding the bad.
